The Space Between Us

Almost perfect
From the moment I read the synopsis, I had to read this book. I'm not sure if I've read Megan Hart before, but I will be reading more.Honestly, The Space Between Us is not a typical romance, even with the possibility of a happy ending that we're ultimately given. But. And this is huge: Speaking from a very intense personal experience, this book nails it.To bring a third into a marriage is incredibly complicated, even while it can be beautiful. And even while it is beautiful, one is aware that it is a short-lived beauty. When it falls apart, it is messy and it hurts.I saw parts of myself in both Tesla and Meredith, to be honest, and parts of our third in each of them as well. So the thoughts, emotions, and sometimes erratic behavior in this story really shouted "truth!"I could not put this book down. The flaws, the awesomeness... just the whole story. I read at least one review that felt the prologue spoiled the story - but if you've lived a story of this sort, you know that even in the beginning, the end is coming. Two little things:The sex scenes were not all that erotic to me, which doesn't mean they wouldn't be to other people...And honestly? I would have liked the ending to go the other way. I won't say more than that, because I don't want to spoil it for anyone... but I think there was a basic integrity that was damaged - although the author did a really nice job of never making the good characters "bad", and once you read the book, you'll know what I mean by that.So - if you want to know what really happens when a married couple brings a "third" to their marriage, this book is spot on.

Two's Company Threes a Crowd
Not all of the books this author writes hold my interest but this one did. This book was a MFF menage. The wife in this story invites another woman into her marriage and then proceeded to treat the husband and the other woman badly. I found the husband to be on the weak side. He never would stand up to his wife. We all know never invite someone else into your marriage and definitely not into your bed it never ends well.

The space between my legs!
If you've read any of Megan's books, you know she writes "gritty" characters with lots of flaws. This book is no different. I was nervous about reading the book because I didn't want to read a tragic ending. But I was pleasantly surprised with the ending. True to form, the book is a hot read with lots of complexities within the storyline. I recommend.

Love the twins, not the married couple
I didn't know to expect except I love Megan Hart. She is great with damaged characters and they made their choices differently. This books gives you a little into the swinger lifestyle. I really didn't like the chemistry between her and the married couple. I felt she really was looking to belong somewhere, anywhere. I love the stories about Cash and Chance. Would have based a book just on those stories.

Good book
After having read tons of crappy books, I have to say that I really enjoyed this book. The characters were very interesting and certain scenes made me cringe so much, that it just goes to show you what a punch the books has. Read it without expectations and you will love it. My only problem is that I felt that Charlie was not really given a voice as much as Meredith. If only the author had given him more time with Tesla, it would have made me feel more. Read it. It's worth it.

I love Megan's books but not this one
I struggled to keep reading this book. I didn't like the character Tesla, sorry I thought she was a slit, I mean Megan can have erotic scenes and it works with the story line but in this book it didn't for me. And for Elaine to allow Telsa stay in her house after what her and Vic did.....no sorry not cool. I was very disappointed but this is the first time I have been with one of Megan's books.

Steamy... but predictable
I'm a huge Megan Hart fan and love most of her books. This one was extremely predictable, especially after reading the prologue. I don't want to give away too much, but lets just say the story centers around a love triangle, but with a twist. This one was not one of my favs but nevertheless, I am still a huge Hart fan!!

Another great Megan Hart book
The ending really surprised me. I love the way Megan writes her characters, they really come to life. Meredith was a really hard character to like but I loved the way Tesla stood up to her. I feel in love with Charlie. This book is definitely worth reading.

the trouble with 3
an amazing story of love and need and loss, Megan has done it again. Tesla is another great heroine with all her fizz and flaws. I was less taken with the manipulative Meredith and from the first page guessed she only loved herself , but we have all meet women like that , so it only added to the truth in the story. Not sure this is actual erotic romance but its an amazing story.
