HaggarMen's Cool 18 Classic Fit Expandable Waist Short Regular and Big & Tall Sizes

Big guys don't mix with shorts, but hot and humid don't mix with big guys. As a big guy I hate shorts, the thought of looking like a slob with shorts riding up my crotch is not an option. Out of the 4 pairs of shorts I purchased this summer this is the only pair I have kept! Not only do these not ride up for me, they are the perfect length. They hit me just below the knee when standing, and at the knee when sitting. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the cut of them makes getting out of the car a bit precarious. I feel like I might (blow out) rip through the crotch if I open my legs too wide and too fast. Best thing to keep in mind is these are a khaki white golf short. Golf is a conservative sport and these shorts are made for sitting standing and waking aka use care when getting out of the car or any time you are sitting and have to spread your legs so you don't rip them. Also these shorts are true to size. I bought them thinking they would be like the haggar pants with plenty of extra room but no dice. They fit great but the expanders have no extra strech left.

The rating describes the product and not my expectations. I had ordered thinking the size would run small and the elastic would make up for that but I was incorrect. The waist size is generous and the elastic is for when you've had a lunch that was generous.I've been searching for these since a long-ago summer where I chanced upon a Haggar outlet and found some microfiber slacks. They were the most luxurious feeling, fancy-pants I'd even owned. (You're missed my departed friend.)They (the departed pants) breathed fantastically well. If you run hot, they were for you. Ever been a man in a full formal dress on a humid summer day wedding with no shade?So if those slacks did all that for me, how do shorts compare, you ask?The material is light, durable, and flows like silken kisses on your legs. Yes. Imagine that. (Pause.)If you run hot, these are your salvation, friend!

They're comfortable but they are so thin, after wearing them one day, the right pocket has a small tear in it just from riding up the escalator. I was leaning against the right side railing and it was a short ride but when I got off I looked down and saw a smudge on my pants. Under the smudge was a tear. So they appear to be well made. Just made of thin fabric that will tear easy. They're also pretty wrinkle free. So I gave it a 3 star review because I don't see them lasting long even though they look and fit nice.

I mean they fit, I guess. They don't have any room for error in the seat or the legs. The material is thin and light weight, which is great for summer shorts, however I don't expect these to last very long without rips and tears.The zipper is also delicate, so I'm not looking forward to wearing these on the regular.

The color wasn't quite what I expected when they arrived, but they ended up being a good match for most of my golfing shirts. They've been comfortable in the heat and humidity and they're classier than the jeans I used to wear to the public courses.

These shorts fit great. Very pleased with this purchase. I hang them to dry instead of putting them in the washer. Other shorts, I have to put in the dryer to get the wrinkles out. These shorts do not have wrinkles after hanging out to dry.

Great shorts.fit perfectly,look good,wrinkle resistant,nice pocket length,front fly is the correct length.I will purchase other colors and hope they are made to the same specs,however one never knows ,as the different colors can be made elsewhere.

Iv put these shorts to battle after a year of working and the only sign of wear is a small hole directly above my back pocket that I prob put there. They lasted the test of work and wash and still look good and are comfortable. Will be getting more pairs.

I'm impressed with this short. As described , they are basically a flat front dress pant , with the legs shortened. A little on the dressy side, but fit and feel is excellent.

Fits great and looks great - now all I need is warmer weather!
