PRO-880 Ultra Clear Strippable

I did A LOT of wallpapering years ago and promised myself I’d never wallpaper again, so here I am wall papering lol. I originally bought fairly expensive “pre” pasted wallpaper from Home Depot and it all came up OFF the walls. I pulled it all down. So, I went the route of “non” pasted with Sherwin Williams. Everyone said buy ROMAN Pro-880. First, the price is great! I feel like you really get a good deal for your money! The quality of the paste is excellent - I rolled it onto the wallpaper (not the walls.) Pure and simple, you need to follow directions (but also have a good product.). Very easy to work with Roman Wallpaper Paste and I really had no mess. Easy to clean up too! Even though you “book” the wallpaper for about 5 minutes, you still have time to move the wallpaper around for a couple minutes. This paste has a very good “grip/hold” on the wallpaper and on the wall. I had prepped the walls with primer to make the walls more adaptable to the wallpaper. Even though it says it takes about 48 hours for drying, a couple hours later everything looked “great.” Drying time is rather quickly I would say - but depends on humidity, etc……This paste is very functional and SUPER easy to work with. It’s the only paste I’ll work with!

I ordered a less expensive wallpaper for my daughter’s room and I was worried it wouldn’t stay on our orange peel finish walls. I bought this to prime our walls and the wallpaper and it worked out perfectly! The wallpaper stayed and looks perfect! Very easy clean up as well I just used a damp microfiber towel to remove the excess. Would buy again!

This paste worked well and had an excellent working time. Cleaned up easily with a damp sponge. On a separate, unrelated topic, I plan to try it when repairing vinyl record sleeves because it was so easy to work with.

I'm writing this review two years after using the Roman PRO-880 wallpaper adhesive to apply my grasscloth wallpaper and it is holding up beautifully. The wallpaper is in my foyer which gets a ton of direct sunlight and I've had no issues with anything peeling or coming off whatsoever. This was my first time attempting a wallpaper application and it was much easier than expected! The adhesive dries clear so any little drips weren't an issue. The space I did is about 10' x 14' and I had about 3/4 of the tub left by the end so value for the money was very good. Would definitely recommend.

This product worked as described . Easy to apply to walls as well as easy clean up. My project turned out great! There is some low level odor for a few days until it completely dries.

Nice and thick, but still allows you to slide or move the wallpaper if needed. Once dried the wallpaper adheres nicely! Will purchase again for my next wallpaper project.

Best wallpaper adhesive I’ve used so far! Easy to apply and adheres well. It being a clear gel like consistency is what I liked.

Demasiado manejable para tapiz delgado, te deja ajustar en pared sin doblamientos y sin grumos, pega muy bien.

Este pegamento realmente funciona bien ya había probado otros pegamentos para tapices e inclusive los polvos que se diluyen para formar el pegamento y no tenía buenos resultados el tapiz se despegaba por secciones pero con este pegamento no hubo error funciona muy lo recomiendo ampliamente .

Received on January 10, 2024, this PRO-880 Wallpaper Adhesive & Paste. This paste worked perfectly well to install my heavy non-woven wallpaper. After gluing the wall a segment at a time, it made my work very easy by being able to maneuver the wallpaper into position. I do recommend this paste.

Wall paper is still stuck to the wall, so I reckon it works! Goop it on nice and thick!
