Haunted Put-In-Bay (Haunted America)

Really enjoyed this book. I go to Put-in-Bay every year. I can’t wait to go to these places mentioned in his book. Put-in-Bay has quite a colorful background. Learned that there are things and places there I didn’t even know existed. Can’t wait to go this year to take a look at a few. Learned a lot. Thank you for writing such an educational book on the Islands history.

I love the first hand knowledge and expirence that was put into the book. Also, being so close to Put In Bay made it more fun to visit and try to see anything first hand. The island has alot of history of you take the time to look!

Been to put in bay four times in the past ten years. Never knew much about its history until I read this book. Now want to pack my suitcase for another trip.

My family and I visit Put-in-Bay every year for at least one night and we thought we knoew a lot about the island. However, we did not know much out side the history that is very prominent such as the War of 1812 and Oliver Hazard Perry.Haunted Put-in-Bay did provide some stories of ghosts (the first one being my favorite), but most importantly, Krejci provided so much history of the different buldings and people that originally inhabited and owned the island. I loved learning so much about our little summer getaway and can't wait to go back to tie it all together in person.The best part of buying this book while we were visiting the island was that the author was texted while I purchased and came right over to autograph it for me:-)

As a big fan of and frequent visitor to Put-In-Bay I was anxious to read this book. I was not disappointed. Very well written. Obviously the author did tremendous amount of research into the writing of the book. I could easily envision the places he talked about as he described all of them. Only complaint was the name of the book. It should have had a name depicting the history of Put-In-Bay, not the haunting. That is a less than trivial complaint. Loved the book.

I loved this book! I love the way Mr. Krejci has set up the book as if you were going to Put-In-Bay for the weekend! Checking In shows the stories and hauntings of the various hotels around the island. Sightseeing showcases the many tourist spots on the island. An Evening Out takes you through the hauntings of the entertainment spots at the heart of Put-In-Bay. He's very informative and I loved this one just as much as I loved Buried Beneath Cleveland! He really has a love of all things supernatural and you can see it in all of his writings!

The seller was great. The book is awful. I mean the biggest waste of life I have ever experienced before. Nothing more than shameless plugs for the local businesses. Author’s efforts are completely worthless. I would be embarrassed.
