this is actually a good thing. They are large enough to loop rope ...
I bought these to install on the side walls in my enclosed trailer for anchor points to tie down furniture, or other cargo. At a buck a piece, I was shocked at how well they are made, and strong as they feel. I was thinking they were smaller, but they are larger than I had thought. For my use, this is actually a good thing. They are large enough to loop rope through, hooks etc. The loop is also welded so no worries about it spreading under load and popping off. The strength will depend on the screws you use, and what they are screwed to (No screws come with them, but they say that). Buy some good 1/4" lag screws, or bolts, and they should hold fine for my purpose. The walls of my hauler has 1/2" plywood, and I will be screwing these through that, and into the ribs of my walls, so that should be plenty strong. I don't plan to use any of these on the floor, because I have recessed D rings to strap down my IH Scout in the trailer, and these aren't rated for that, but they can be screwed to the floor if you dont mind tripping over them (they are not recessed, not their fault). They aren't heavy enough to anchor a vehicle, but they aren't rated, or meant for that. But for anchoring furniture, boxes, appliances, etc, these should be more than enough. For that purpose, I would recommend these, and I may buy some more. I bought the bag of 20.

Great price, and works great in my cargo/camping trailer
Great price, and works great in my cargo/camping trailer. As far as the loading goes, I think whatever you screw it to will break off long before these rings fail. I tie lots of things to my cargo trailer and keep adding new ones as I need. These things are exactly what you need. I use ratchet straps to hold the objects in place. I've bought these a couple times.

Quality at a bargain
I bought these 20 pk to use in my inclosed landscape trailer. These seem to be better quality than the 5000 lb rated, also a better valueI use to strap down all my heavy equip and they work great. I would buy them again!!!

not exactly as described
description reads " 400lb working load and 1200lb breaking point " the actual description on the product reads 233lbs working load and 700lb breaking. Should still be good for normal use such as an anchor point for straps when moving furniture or such that you just want to make sure doesn't slide or blow out of a truck. If you are moving a fridge or upright freezer .... well they may be pushed pass the working load rate.

Not like the picture for sure.
We expected what was pictured, it reads in the description they may vary but crappy welds on the side instead of under the plate is subject to C-hooks and failure with some pressure, anything more than strapping down a tarp; there worthless unreliable and dangerous!! Sending back, will pay more for more.

Husky little buggers
Nice heavy duty rings. 1/4" holes to bolt them down and start tying off. I put them all over my ATV to tie down stuff

Seems like good quality.
Bought these to line the walls of my enclosed trailer. I got enough to mount one to every wall stud. Far cheaper than installing "e-track".Quality seems just fine.

Handy set up for sunny days.
We cover with a tarp the drive way for a party and since this is not the only time we should be doing it. We used the D ring to leave the set up ready for the next time.
