WeberSpirit S-315 NG Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

This is an easy-to-use grill that is a fraction of the cost of the high-end brands. I is a chore to assemble, but anyone with basic mechanical skill should have no problem. The grates are ceramic-coated cast iron and should be very durable. The "flavorizers" are stainless steel and likewise should last. I had steel flavorizers on a previous grill, and they rusted away in several years.All of the hardware is of good quality, and most is stainless to avoid rust. This grill should last for at least a decade with reasonable care.

I have owned 2 of these in the last thirty years. We grill year round and we use the grill two or three times a week. I order any part that burns out directly from the manufacturer and the price is always reasonable. This grill cooks with ease and has excellent even heat, no hot spots.

The grill arrived undamaged. The printed assembly instructions were not too bad, but reference was made to an assembly app. that promised more detail. The app was more confusing than the printed instructions so we used those. All of the pieces were present, all of the holes lined up properly and assembly was completed in about two hours. The grill is sturdy (same quality as a 10 year old one) and very sharp looking. This should provide many years of grilling enjoyment.

Nice Grill, Solid and Sturdy. But the rear panel is a half size than one shown in the assembly guide. Not sure if Weber has yet resolved this or this was an update to the product, because if so, it carries a major risk to animals creeping in on the grill.

The grill works well. They aren't built like they used to be but nothing is anymore. The natural gas hookup was a snap.

I got the grill delivered + set up, and I was provided a pamphlet by my Amazon installers to leave a review. Bought this grill to replace an old genisis silver I bought second hand. It’s was old and beat up but with a few new parts (grates and burners) it was back in business. It did have its problems though. Mostly the inability to properly sear and heat distribution. After 5 years it’s time for a change. And there it was. The spirt 315 in stainless and natural gas. I pulled the trigger and anxiously awaited my new purchase. And it didn’t come. But that’s not what this review is about. Two days later and I’m in business. Did I add that I got free assembly? Anyways, let’s get to the performance part of this review. First off it’s stunning. I will polish this grill to see that shine. It is truly a beautiful grill. I love the enclosed storage below. It’s adds a great look while also blocking the wind. I keep my grill wok down there (get one if you don’t already)! It lights almost instantly and the lid feels heavy and expensive (as it should). Now let’s talk cooking. My first cook was some greasy burgers and sausages to begin the break in period. After my initial burn off I preheated on high to see what kind of heat I was going to get. Now I was coming from an old genisis and wasn’t sure what to expect. Less than 15 min later and I’m burying the need at 650 degrees. I’m shocked. I can’t even put my hands over the grates (a good thing). The burgers and sausages cook great. Second day I do chicken breast indirect. Cooked perfect. Third night chicken fajitas. Awesome. Can you tell I love this grill? In closing, theres cheaper bigger grills on the market. Like char king for example that a nice man recommended at my local hardware store. But I’ll stick with what I know and love. It’s a 5 star grill. The price is fair. Looks great and cooks awesome. Quit reading and click buy! (Did I mention free assembly)?
