Harry Potter - The Illustrated Collection

The Harry Potter Illustrated Edition is fantastic—beautiful illustrations, great quality, and the packaging was very good. It truly feels like a special collector’s book. However, the delivery experience was disappointing. As a Prime member, my order was expected on 25th December. The delivery address was closed that day, but I was waiting nearby so that if the delivery person called, I could come and collect it. Unfortunately, there was no call, and the item was simply marked as delivered. I contacted Amazon customer service, but they couldn’t connect me with the delivery person or resolve the issue. One simple call would have made a big difference, so this was quite disappointing despite the great product.

Books came in a very sturdy and well packaged condition preventing harm if any, during transit. It shows why the seller Cloudtail is popular. Somebody said previously that books are not just product but a lot of sentiments are attached with them and it appears that Cloudtail people are well aware of the fact. Hats off to you man. As of the contents of the books.... everyone knows that, there is nothing new except those beautiful illustrations by Jim Kay I have bought the book for. Those are mesmerizing. Those of you reading for the first time I would highly suggest these illustrated editions.. a bit pricey but good thing don't come cheap. Go ahead first time readers and buy it, you won't regret. Choose Cloudtail as seller during placing the order, don't go blindly.

Illustrations are fantastic, dreamy and captivating. I have read all books previously but was too excited for jim kay editions. Good for potter collectors, will be a gem to add. I already gifted it to my nephews and they were amazed.

These are expensive books and weight more than 5kg but look like handles roughly during transportation, due to that. Outer book box and book cover corners are damaged and that looks bad, also the book's plastic packaging was torn up.

Mindblowing illustrations by Jim Kay....But worst packaging experience by amazon as usual....I don't understand why amazon are so casual in this section....they used only a thin polybag covering for this book set of approx 6 kg weight....no bubble warp no box packing....unbelievable....5 stars even more for the book.. But 0(zero)star for amazon packaging.

The books are beautifully illustrated, the pages are good quality paper and sewn in. Love it!

重さがありますが、その分しっかりしており挿絵も美しくよいものでした。 7歳の子供のために買いましたが、挿絵のおかげで集中して楽しく読めているようです。ただ子供が読むには文字が小さめです。 装丁含め、こちらの版を買ってよかったです。

They were a gift and were very well received!!

When I first saw these in a review I knew I had to get them, the illustrations were so gorgeous. But ultimately I returned them as it didn’t quite feel as immersive as I had imagined it to be. I think there were only 2-3 illustrations of Hermione in the entirety of the 3 books, the illustrations were mainly character or object-based which was why I felt that it wasn’t very immersive, there were a few scene-based illustrations like Azkaban and Hogwarts on the inner covers which were what I imagined what the book was going to be. The scene-based illustrations were so detailed and fantastical, you could really imagine the characters in them. It felt a little anti-climatic to read through an action packed scene only for the illustrations to be a tiny object of something or just the character’s portrait slapped in the middle of the page. I had expected to see the characters drawn in reaction to something or being part of an incredible scene but I’d say most of the time the two subjects were drawn separately.
