Stanley Fatmax DST 101/8/6Si Silent Air Compressor

The media could not be loaded. It is just what I wanted. It is not as quiet as shown but definitely quieter than any other compressors, you can hear it on my video, it may seem loud but you can speak with no problem while its working. For electronic cleaning and from time to time pumping wheels on a car and bike just no better. It pumps from 0 to max 8 bar in around 50 seconds. Keep in mind that it won't suit for heavy air tools as its air tank is too small for that but is can keep up well with my air stapler with 40mm nails. If wanted compressor for home use then there is no better but keep in mind it will not suit for heavy duty work like car service machinery.Some idi*ts in comments here sayd that its worthless compressor and it can not run air tools. Well, you are truly an Idi*t if you buying compressor with only 6 little tank for air tools. For that 50/80/100 little tank on diesel compressors exist!This Stanley is portable, light enough, quiet and just perfect for home use like cleaning electronics and pumping wheels of your car and bike.

Compressor came well boxed. Easy to assemble; connect air filter and front air hose connector. Both screw fit. Runs extremely quietly. Takes very little time to come to pressure. Great advantage to have the tank pressure gauge and the tool pressure gauge. Easy but heavy to carry far. can sit easily on a desk indoors and work. It is well worth having an air gun or similar to release air pressure in tank at end of task.Overall extremely pleased.

This is a really good piece of kit. I predominantly bought this to use on-site with a brad nail gun but I have also used it to spray with. Both experiences were positive. I did replace the fittings with standard PCL which work much better in my opinion. The compressor could be improved by adding somewhere to store the power cord during transportation but overall it has performed well. Only owning it for a few months i can't comment on its reliability but it does appear to be well made.

Great compressor, average capacity but its silent and easy to use. I paid £175 but the price fluctuates a bit.I would say i got good value for money.Hopefully its is reliable and has a great working life. It will be used for pumping up tyres and blowing dust, I may use this for paint spraying at some point too.

Really super, tiny little machine, very very quiet. Machine was unfortunately sent with no safety release valve though. Cheaper and more time saved to replace the part myself than to return and wait for replacement.

I gave these 5 stars as it is very quiet and does what it says but i did end up sending back as it was not what I needed as the tools I ran were too demanding and the tank was too small for my use but as a hobby compressor this would be perfect, just not for me who needed more constant air supply.

I bought this machine to use in my customers houses so I was after a portable and quiet compressor to use with a nail gun. This is perfect for that.It really is as quiet as people say. You can turn it on whilst people are talking and you won't drown them out. It's much quieter than my Henry hoover.The only real draw back is that it's not powerful enough to use effectively with a paint sprayer. I did know this before purchasing I was just hoping I would get away with it as I wanted to experiment with spray painting small areas first to determine whether it was something I wanted to get into.Overall it's a nice compact machine with most of the components protected whilst it's stored on my van. It will fire 11 nails at just over 90psi before it tops itself up which takes seconds and will drive 50mm Brad's through MDF. Much more powerful than the cheap electric nailer I had, and much cheaper to buy the compressor, hose and nail gun than it is to buy a Pasloe.

If you need a very quiet compressor this is ideal. I think it's about 3.6 cfm so it carn't power high power air tools, but if all you need is a blow gun and tyre inflator it's ideal. the adjustable output with a indicated dial guage has proven to be more useful than first thought. have tried the compressor with a air ratchet, it ran it for about 4 seconds before the reciever was empty.
