I bought this robe for my child a couple of years ago. I originally got it to take to the beach. It worked perfectly to dry off, as a cover up, and for keeping warm. I love that it's a longer length and has deep pockets. I also love that it has a zipper and not just a tie, because kids seem to find zippers easier and there are no worries about the robe tie slipping undone. The robe is such a nice quality that we ended up using it as a bath robe as well. It's been over two years with regular use, washing and drying, and it's still like new. I came looking to buy one for my other child and was disappointed to find them out of stock and unknown whether it would come back in stock. I went with a similar style robe from another brand for the same cost and it was a terrible disappointment! The material on the other brand is so thin and the sleeves so snug that it's difficult to pull on and even more so with wet arms. I was reviewing the items on my saved list and saw this robe still listed as out of stock. Out of longing for this quality robe, I clicked on it anyway and there was just one available! I bought immediately without a second thought. The 2 year old robe will now be a like-new hand me down for my younger child and the new bigger size for my older child. I'm so relieved to have found one in stock. Originally, the cost seemed high to me, but now I know it lives up and is well worth it. I only wish they made this one in all sizes from kids to teens to adults.

The robe is nice fabric and is soft. The fit is somewhat big. The reason for the 3 stars is the zipper. The zipper at the bottom has torn away from the fabric. The robe is LONG and kids are kids so it should have really been made with a shorter zipper, giving the front a bigger 'slit' below the zipper and allowing a more lose fit by the knee area

2ND UPDATE: 6 months later and this robe used regularly still look new. Great quality robe!!UPDATE: 5 STARS for a company that stands by it's quality product! Received a message offering to personally inspect for any zipper flaws and ship another robe. This robe is perfect and feels like million bucks. It's holds its quality after washing. They make great Christmas gifts this year!!Old Review:What's a zipper robe without a zipper? This robe would easily be 5 star...I've now purchased this robe twice because I like the shape and soft quality fabric so much. BUT...both robes had zippers defects. Returned the 1st robe, took a chance and ordered a 2nd one in a different color hoping the 1st was just a bad batch. Nope! That's to bad!

This robe is high quality terry cloth. It does not shed any lint. It is soft and the zipper is also high quality. I bought three - one for each of my children. It’s room enough that it will fit them all for a couple of years. Hands down, the best kids’ robe I’ve ever bought.

On Christmas day our granddaughter put on the bathrobe and wore it all day.

My son is above average height, but slender. It fits perfectly, he just wears it as a house robe and loves it. It is heavy enough to keep him warm in the house.

Kids can't keep belts tied. These zip-up robes keep them warm!

Amazing robe. My son loves it. It makes bath time so much better. He can get out and snuggle in the robe before getting dressed. I plan to use it this summer at the beach and take it to swim lessons.
