Fit perfectly
Fit perfectly, easy to install, works great. Saved me a great deal of $. Dyson does not authorize individual repair shops - you have to send to Dyson repair facilities. There are no Dyson facilities in my state. It would cost me $250 just to send to facility each way!

Tip: Go to Dyson’s official site and search for this part for your vacuum model. Write down the part number. Is it the same as the number for THIS hose? If so you’re golden. If not, this isn’t the right part for your unit. I hope this will save someone a headache.Instructions came with the hose, and it was simple to install.

Nice part but does not fit my older Small Ball 2020? model
The piece is well crafted but did not fit my older small ball multifloor maybe 2019/2020 model. I ended up taking the hose off of the new replacement part and putting it on the existing red hose end piece. It was a pain in the butt and I had to grind off the extra adhesive but it worked just fine. I order the DC40 COV hose and that fit just fine which I found pretty odd but whatever dyson has to do to keep selling vacuums I guess.

Fits how it should, easy to replace part. It fixed the suction issue I had due to original part getting a hole.

Bought in May, broke in September
The part went on easy enough and worked great for for months. The house separated creating a tear but electrical tape extended is life. However, when the clip broke, that was a wrap.
