The phone is brand new but the charger, battery, and back cover have been used. This was a replacement phone that I just took out of the box and have not used or touched.

Great Phone, a little slow but still great
This phone is made for hardcore texters! It has a smooth QUERTY keyboard and the texting system is efficient and fast, it also give you the perk of texting in your computer or tablet! Sure at first, this phone might be a bit tricky to handle but once you learned how to use it you'll love it. There is a downside though, the battery life drains quickly if you are constantly using the internet or playing games on it, so its always good to have your charger at hand. The phone is for those all time fans of the sidekick who never wanted their phone discontinued :)

I had gotten a Sidekick through T-Mobile and used it from August of 2011 until October 2012 when I dropped it and it broke. I had gotten about three replacements throughout the year due to the charger port breaking. I love the Sidekick. The keyboard is what got me to get this same as a replacement. It is spacious and I adore it. I love how the screen reveals the keyboard as well. It's perfect for texting. When I got this phone through T-Mobile directly the packaging was okay. Ordering it here, the packaging was amazing! I love the design of the box so much. Everything has it's own compartment! I really only paid attention to the fact that I was buying the phone itself because that's really what I needed, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with everything! The charger, the connecting cord, and even a micro SD with a regular SD with a micro slot!I was worried spending so much money online. My dad ordered something he thought was new from Amazon and when it came in the mail it was used and barely reset. I am so happy that this phone came how it did!I am so very happy with my purchase (:

Got it early & I'm liking it :)
This is awesome.I actually received the phone before its arrival date. The phone works fine, the track ball is worn out and is difficult to use, but everything else works fine.Note: you will receive the Sidekick phone (T-Mobile, it even has its logo in the back of the screen when you pop it open), with its charger and cable, no micro-sd card.I simply plugged in my T-Mobile SIM card, turned on the 4G & Auto Syncing, plugged it into the charger and I left it to do update. If your downgrading from a newer phone (due to missing the keyboard) keep in mind that these phone are slower than the Galaxy series which came after it. So give it a few hours to sync up all the information.I must say that I do enjoy having a keyboard again, nothing against the non keybard slim phone, I just find this one to be a bit more robust.

SideKick 4g is Great but you should install a Custom Rom onto it.
The Sidekick 4g is outdated as of this point of time. But it still is greats and many apps still support it. Including emulators.Fortunately the Sidekick 4g can run anything from NES Emulators all the way to N64. As for the people saying it sucks I never had any problem with the stock rom. But I install a custom rom on it and it runs faster. Note: The stock rom is still great, mind you but it still has it fair shares of slow downs.

Doesn't work after a while...
I bought this phone and I loved it. I loved the original Sidekick and I thought, this one has to rock as hard as the original; however, about 2 weeks later, the phone's processor decides it wants to slow down dramatically. I have so many problems with the screen not working(with or without a screen protector) and the phone is constantly crashing. Apps run fine most of the time, but good luck using your phone right after you exit one. The phone takes a minute or two to resume basic functions when an application is exited. Do yourself a favor, and steer clear of this phone, and any other T-Mobile product at that.

Im sure if i had purchase this at the time it came out i would of been happy with it but bc we are in 2016 with more advance technology i feel my experienced is based on current technology, It was very slow and laggy compared to my iphone and galaxy. If your looking to have a back up phone specifically for texting or making some phone calls then i recommend it, If your considering it for other things then good luck. 80% of the installed apps dont work and or not supported by t-mobile anymore. They dont have any updated firmware anymore for it so your stuck with the factory installation and 90% of the apps in the android market aren't compatible bc the current software cant handle the new application updates.

Sidekick 4G Review
I was very satisfied with the sidekick 4G that I received. One reason why is because it was in new condition. The Sidekick 4G has a nice screen, and is ideal for messaging. However, the phone is a little bit bulky and heavy.

Okay but slow, and has strong flaws.
I'm still using, the only complain would be that it does get frozen sometimes, and it has some gaps like when dialing a number sometimes it takes you back to the main screen and at the end you have to find another way to call (write tn on notepad and click fast twice), on my country it only works 2g (Dominican Republic) due to GSM Signal incompatibility.
