Solid entry/mid level breaker
This cue did wonders for me over a random 19/20 oz house cue for consistency (obviously) and breakout. It really is a solid piece of equipment for the price that I'd recommend to anyone in the "serious casual" to entering "local bar league" player level.I do have one complaint: the weight bolt has a tendency to come loose. This may be a rare manufacturing outlier, I don't know, but as soon as I hear a *ping* instead of a *thonk* on the break, I know I have to break out my hex key and crank it down again. It'll be good for 20-30 breaks after that. Manufacturing? Quality? User error? I'm not good enough to know those answers yet.

Great stick
I bought this as a gift for my son. I used the reviews to make my purchase and they were extremely helpful in making the decision for this stick. My son thought I paid a lot more for this and he absolutely loved it.

Beautiful pool cue, but…
I've changed my review. So, recently purchased specifically for breaking and the first thing was just how big the 14mm upper/tip is, so be aware. For me, I should have looked for one in the 12.75 to 13mm range. The tip is very hard composite material. I may try replacing it with a a hard leather tip. The collar is not metal and I should have asked before purchasing. I've used it several nights now in league play. My original opinion was maybe a little harsh. I would say it is a decent cue for the money and I'll keep it in the lineup. Now that I know, I will seek out and purchase a 13mm upper and hard leather tip and compare.

Great break cue
I had been using an old 21oz shooting cue as my break cue, until I borrowed one of my teammate's break cue, and then I decided I needed one. But, I didn't need a $600 break cue like he had, so I bought this one (18 oz). I consistently sink 1-2 balls on the break (9-ball) (when my opponent doesn't loose-rack me). I don't shoot jump shots, so I can't speak to its ability there, but for breaking, this cue rocks. Two other players on my team also own variations of this cue (including our SL7 player). Would recommend.

Decent cue for the price
Not a bad break/jump cue for the price. Jumps pretty decent too.

Pleasantly surprised so far with the quality, feel and performance.
Pleasantly surprised so far with the quality, feel and performance. Haven't been disappointed with Players cues yet. Hopefully it will hold up for years of fun and excitement like my other Players cue.

This is a good solid cue for the money.
The media could not be loaded. I didn't buy this cue because I had a problem breaking. My problem was that the ferrules on cheap cues were constantly breaking. This appears to be a solid cue with a nice 14 mm tip that should stand up to heavy breaking. I have never jumped balls before. Within 2 hours using this cue, I was able to consistently jump full ball across the table. I don't think I will be jumping during a match, but I will practice until I become proficient at it.

Simple but nice jump break cue.

Everything it is supposed to be.
Have begun to refine techniques. I can not blame equipment anymore. My breaks are improving and I have the ball airborne. This is a great addition to my game.

The cue came damaged.
It had 3 marks in the shaft, had to be returned with no replacement option.

Solid breaks, easy jumps that are pretty difficult with a regular cue
So i've been playing with the cue for a day.It does exactly what you would expect.Solid strong breaks in full formation. Also performs really well if its your only jump cue (as it is for me). I generally tend to buy player brand billiard accessories because they're within a goood budget and perform really well.Only con i found is using it as a 2 piece jump cue can irritate your hand (back end of the cue) when practicing difficult shots, wearing a glove solves the issue.Ive uploaded a jump shot using the cue to my instagram @samsupershots if you want to see it in action.
