Better than expected
Brought this kit as my son had dropped his phone at the fair only smashing the back cover. So brought this to see how easy it would be to change. Had to apply heat to the back cover to melt the adhesive. Then managed to ease the back off with the plectrums in the kit. Followed the instructions on the paper that came with the kit. Pretty simple to understand. Had to remove the fingerprint sensor off the old back and add it to the new and re connect it. Then the new back cover fitted on with no issues what so ever. Warmed the back up once again just to help the adhesive stick. And bobs your uncle. Well impressed.

Pretty good value for money
Like:1. useful tools,2. helpful instructions (but see later),3. good quality glass back,4. fast delivery,5. ease of fitting.Disliked:1. A large sucker is provided to pull off the back. Unfortunately the most frequent reason for replacing the back is that it's cracked, so the sucker doesn't work (air leaks through the cracks). If two small suckers were provided, there's a better chance of covering an uncracked area of the back, and hence of using them successfully.2. Given the sucker can't work, you have to use the steel spudger to prise off the back. This isn't sharp enough to do the job and there is a really risk of damaging the case edge if you try. I used a chisel-ended kraft tool with a very sharp edge to prise off the back and got away with it.3. Step 9 of the instructions is wrong. (as are several YouTube videos) It's nigh on impossible to make a safe reconnection of the fingerprint sensor plug AFTER you've fitted it to the back, and there's a really danger of damage. Also, unless you're lucky first time, you end up accidentally and prematurely contacting the adhesive and pulling it off again to retry. This spoils the adhesion. The best method is to fit the fingerprint sensor and its plug to the phone first, then use its aperture in the back to align the back. The case back can then be dropped straight down to contact the adhesive strip normally, ie. perpendicularly to it.

Great quality
I was a little wary about this diy project. I needn't have worried. Very simple instructions also with barcode link to you tube for tutorial. Didnt take me too long and now my phone looks brand new. Great price, delivered within one day and took maybe half an hour to change. Thanks very much. I highly recommend this product.

Everything you need to replace smashed back glass.
Great product! Wanted to try my hand at DIY phone repair after watching numerous YouTube vids. This set made it possible, with simple step by step instructions and every tool required (including sim card removal tool). I did consider buying all bits separate, but this made it so much easier. The phone is like new, really pleased. (I recommend using a heat gun as this made it so much easier).

A first class replacement product
In the process of changing the charging port on my S9 I ruined the glass back. This replacement came with everything except the finger print sensor which I salvaged from the old screen. The phone looks as good as new and the new back was simple to fit.

Adhesive is rubbish avoid
This product seemed great, but when applying the adhesive is rubbish I did everything the manual said plus heat gunned even clamped it for most of the day but doesn't stick on the one corner... and as a result will have to find a new one... very disappointed

Very Good Once You Know What You're Doing
This kit has everything you need to replace the back cover of a Samsung Gaalxy S9. I've never done this before so was quite worried that I might inadvertently cause damage. The instructions are not the easiest to follow and I had to refer to a YouTube video once I'd got the back off. All in all it took me an hour to replace but that was probably because it was my first time doing something like this. I'm confident I could do it much quicker next time. I've deducted a star because of the instructions. However, I'd highly recommend this as it's not as complex as it looks and is probably much cheaper too!
