Billy's Booger

I purchased BILLY'S BOOGER for my second grade nephew who sometimes needs to be encouraged to read. I am an English teacher, and I have to admit that the book looked so enticing that I read it before I sent it to him. The art work is gorgeous. The author's book from elementary school is part of this book. The booger is something of a super hero. My nephew sat down immediately and read the book from beginning to end. It is not long; however, some vocabulary is mature. That makes it a truly good learning tool. The sweet story reminds the reader that not everyone looks at the world in the same way.

My grandchildren love this author. This is a great funny book especially for children who are imaginative themselves. A true delight for the boys.

This book is AMAZING! I purchased the book to read to my 4th grade class, while we were studying memoirs. The author of the book is also very inspiring for students!

This is actually a very sweet book. I bought it for my 6 year old grandson, who, after deciding I wasn't actually trying to gross HIM out, thought it was funny. The lesson (moral of the story) of the book is perfect...

I bought this book, first because it contains Bill Joyce's first book, and second, for my three grandchildren. Several adults read Billy's Booger before my grandchildren ever got to read it. All the adults and my grandchildren LOVED IT! William Joyce has NEVER failed to surprise me with anything he has produced. Congratulations Bill on this one, too.

My granddaughter has another book by this author/illustrator so I know she will love this

My 4th grade class writes books every year. (We sew and bind them as well, the whole shabang!) William Joyce's memoir is amusingly inspiring.
