Denon DCD-600NE CD Player - Black

Perfect, replaced my broken cd player in my hi-fi set up, slightly larger than the original but the sound quality is brilliant, Les info on the screen than the Kenwood but that’s not a bad thing, so far so good, no complaints, a recommended buy.

A superb audiophile cd player. I play this through a Mission Cyrus One amp into Wharfedale Diamond 220i speakers. Wonderful detailed sound and imagery and seperation. Really good high end and solid bass. A great prduct.

Must admit I’m more of a Cambridge audio or a Marantz, but I’ll take a chance and to be honest with you it is really good quite impressive. I dare say just as good as Cambridge obviously for under £300 not a higher models playing through Cambridge Minx with a Cambridge minx sub and also monitor audio tall speakers sounds fantastic.

Sounds good, easy to use. Should have bought the one with the remote.

It is very easy to use with sharp reproduction and a clear screen. The remote is very ergonomically designed. Its overall design is very neat. Very good value for money

Have to say im mega impressed with this for clear sound quality. Easy to adjust things like balance and base. I was so impressed I purchased a Denon amp and the 2 together actually sound better then my previous, which was supposed to have slightly better quality. Highly recommend this.

An excellent cd player with great sound quality easy to set up works well with my Sony amplifier

Really nothing to complain about at this price point. Rock solid and well built. Remote control is effective. Linked to a Rotel Amp (Old school) and Wharefedale Diamonds. Enjoying CD's with a full, warm and clear sound that really beats Spotify hands down. It really is the 1990's all over again with New Order, Talking Heads, Happy Mondays and the Farm. If you spent £500 on a CD player, it cannot be twice as good...

Very easy setup. Once the cables were connected to my AMP, it just played straight away.

I bought the Denon DCD-600NE to integrate a dedicated optical disc player into my audio setup, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the sound reproduction is phenomenal. Thanks to Denon's AL32 Processing and high-precision DAC, the audio output is clean, balanced, and remarkably detailed. Highs are crisp without being fatiguing, mid-range vocals are clear, and the low end is tight and well-defined. Enabling the 'Pure Direct Mode' makes a subtle but noticeable difference by turning off the display and digital outputs to eliminate any potential signal interference. The build quality is excellent. The chassis feels solid, dampens vibrations effectively, and the matte black finish looks understated and sleek in a Hi-Fi rack. The tray mechanism operates quietly and smoothly, reading discs quickly without any tracking issues or mechanical noise. If you are looking for a dedicated, high-fidelity CD player that delivers true-to-life sound without unneeded complexity, the DCD-600NE is an absolute winner. Highly recommended!

Here's the deal. I have no idea if the Denon is good or bad because I was never able to use it. This review is in order to warn any U.S. customers to stay away from ordering through Amazon. My unit came via DHL from England. Fine. But, it was wired for British wall sockets. I even tried getting a little converter that fit over the plug and converted it to American sockets. Nope. Does not work. Unit is probably some Euro voltage anyway. Do NOT order anything that's from the AMAZON GOBAL STORE. If you get the wrong thing YOU will have to pay to have it returned. In my case it was going to be $289.00. The freaking cd player only cost just under $400. Sooooo....I'm going to keep it and use as an object lesson and reminder. Look...just be very, very careful what you buy via Amazon if it's going to be shipped from overseas. Do not do that.
