I have a lot of NILSSON stuff but I didn"t hesitate to buy this. NiLSSON was a brilliant shooting star and his work is genius..including the rarities contained here. His work-especially with Randy Newman-included here as "Vine Street" and "Living Without You" is nothing short of heartbreaking. If you not too familar with his wqrk, this is a wonderful intro. If you know him well..well...it's like hearing an old cosy friend..The Brilliant Nilsson..i

Nielsson remains one of the most amazing songwriters of my generation- his music is loved by all!

Harry Nilsson is unfortunately one of those artists that made such well know titles that everybody knows and can sing along to but hasn't got a clue as to the artist themselves.This album is a collection of some of his finest works, and I would recommend it for all age groups.

The late Harry Nilsson was blessed with one of the best singing voices you were ever likely to hear. Alas he indulged in a lifestyle that damaged his career and ended his life prematurely. Over the years his record company has issued countless compilations. This one is not so different from others and would be a good place to start for those new to Harry Nilsson. Music lovers will like the diversity of styles. His singing voice is greatly underrated.
