Have a small kids ATV with factory 6V 4Ah battery and RS390 6V motor rated at 16,000 RPM. My 2 year old (3 year old in size) made the ATV struggle on hills and any slight incline resulted in a lower speed. Even on flat ground it was a rather slow walking pace for the parents. This new motor was a drop in replacement, and a 12V 9Ah battery fit perfectly. ATV no longer struggles up inclines and slows down just enough on steeper hills to match mom & dad. Walking speed is perfectly match to the ATV speed now with the higher motor speed. Hope the gear box lasts!Only compliant going from the 6V to the 12V that I didn't notice in the pictures is that the 6V has a circular plastic insert by the motor. The 12V doesn't have this so it would flop around in the ATV housing. Given the duty cycle and overall constraints of the mechanical system design, I simply used some thick tape to minimize the gap between motor housing and ATV housing. Will come up with a more permanent solution later if the tape fails.

Leaving a review after using for a week. It’s held up great my son uses his little 4wheeler everyday and even in the grass. Have a dewalt battery going to it and it works jus fine. Hasn’t burnt up yet so definitely worth the try. If it last you more than a week of everyday use then it’s deff worth the money.

Product was solid , delivery was quick but the bolt hole was too small for the kids cycle this was being used for.

Replaced my kids 6v quad with a 12v battery. Blew out the plastic gears in the gear box. Installed this 12v gear box and motor. Working good so far.

The inner diameter where the drive shaft slides through is advertised as 1cm. The TWO that I received were more 3/4 cm. Complete waste of time and money.

So far runs great a little performance boost and doesn't drain down battery fast. Every thing fit great and durable!

It is way to small for the utv.

Lo use para sustituir el motor original de una moto eléctrica para niños, la velocidad y fuerza fue suficiente, hasta ahora aún funciona y sin problemas, le adapté una batería a 12 volts a la moto porque la batería original junto con el motor eran de 9V.

L’auto de mon fils a pris en fumer apres 10 minutes d’utilisation 😭
