i don't normally write review but oh my god this sketchbook is so great-- literally the best one I've ever used. the pages are sturdy and take watercolor and gouache pretty well, and it's nice and compact to carry with u whenever. so if you want a really good book this is it!!! you won't regret it.

I love this sketchbook! The pages are hefty enough to handle gouache medium! They are also smoother than a cold press, or even hot press, paper - which I prefer! I have been happy with this book and will likely have more in my future.

The book and pages are sturdy and accepting of all kinds of layered media, excellent for getting ideas down and keeping them in one place that's portable

I got this as a gift for my friend and they love it so much! They already started some watercolor painting in it and has zero complaints!

Love this mix media art journal!! Love that it’s a hard back so it’s not flimsy at all which makes is great for traveling or drawing on the go. The paper is extremely thick which is wonderful if you use a lot of watercolors or something that’s ink intensive. For markers it absorbs it very well. Very little bleeding. This is also incredible for the price! Plus it’s 48 pages which makes me feel more accomplished when I finish this book. Rather than your usual 200 page which I feel like I never fully fill out. The size is wonderful too, not too big not too small!The only flaws is that the paper only comes in tones grey or this off cream type color. There’s not an option for just plain white paper. I wish there was an option for just plain paper but it’s fun to experiment with the tones grey that I choose, it’s different! The other issue is that, the paper is SO thick that the pages do not lay flat, you have to have a paper weight or something similar to kinda keep the pages from collapsing in on you. Which isn’t a deal breaker for meOther than that, I’d definitely buy this art journal again!!

My favorite watercolor sketchbook so far. Good quality, sturdy, it does not come apart, good for wet in wet, takes scrubbing and lifting well. Keep in mind the paper is not bright white, more like off white and maybe that is why I think the pigments do not look that bright.

I absolutely love this sketchbook! I have used everything from acrylic inks and gouache, regular gouache, oil pastels, crayons, pastel pencils, charcoal, alcohol markers and watercolor as well as regular ink and pencil; and it can take them all. Alcohol markers will bleed through to the other page, but you can use an opaque medium on the back after, if you want. I havent tried gessoing and using oils because they dry slow, but I'm sure it could take it. I carry it with me everywhere and because the hard cover it holds up well. I highly recommend this sketchbook for experimentation and just overall fun with art. I doubted I would like it this much, but the 100 percent cotton paper and hard cover won me over.

High quality mixed media paper in a hand-sized book. What more could you ask for? 👍🏽

j'était tellement contente de trouver un cahier a dessin a couverture rigide de cette grandeur a ce prix. Je L'aime beaucou, beau rendu sauf que les page gondole un peu avec l'eau...je vais essayer de repasser les pages arrière pour voir si je ne peu pas les remettre droite... c'est un peu dommage, si non je vais l'utiliser que pour le dessin et non pour l'aquarelle.

Gostei da qualidade. O papel tem uma textura bastante uniforme. É 100% celulose mas de boa qualidade para aquarela. Serve bem. Por ser de uma marca assim achei meio caro, mas a capa tem uma qualidade superior a Hahnemule e Moleskine.

I got this earlier today. I love this paper, I got all my art supplies swatched on it and everything looks fantastic.
