I've put this tool through hell, heavy daily usage and it performs great. For the quality and price I'll buy this every day of the week. Easy to use.

Works very well...for the very short period of time that it actually works! Upon receipt of this item, I was generally satisfied with the overall quality at this price point. Seemed like a very nice package, and the tool looked good and felt sturdy. Read the manual, plugged it in and hit the “on” switch. Nothing...no sign of life whatsoever. Should have returned it immediately, but I thought it might be something simple, like a loose wire. Opened it up, and sure enough, there was a wire connector that was clearly detached, perhaps slipped off during shipping. Simply reconnected the wire and the tool worked perfectly. Used it for one job which took about 30 minutes total, during which the tool was used intermittently without much stress or demand on the tool. Performance was satisfactory. Several weeks later, started to use the tool for a very light task. It stopped working within the first minute. Dead! Opened it up (thinking it might be that the wire became disconnected again), but I was unable to diagnose the problem. No wires were disconnected, there was no heat or unusual smell (nothing overheating or burning), and absolutely no evidence of any damage causing a malfunction. It was simply dead! Lesson learned, I decided to keep the plastic case and accessories, and I bought a Dremel...as I should have to begin with. BOTTOM LINE: Don’t buy this tool if you need to use it more than once.UPDATE: After submitting my negative review, the company contacted me, apologized for my unfortunate experience with their product, and offered a full refund. They even went as far as to follow up when I initially failed to respond. Then, after I agreed to a full refund (who would refuse their money back?), they IMMEDIATELY refunded my full purchase price, and then followed up to make sure I received the proceeds! Who does that? In my experience, I’ve encountered very few companies willing to go to such great lengths to appease a disgruntled customer. In retrospect, I probably should have just contacted them directly when I first encountered a problem. Given their attention to customer satisfaction, I will have more confidence in purchasing their products in the future. 4 stars for Customer Service!

An excellent starter kit for the intro level hobbyist. If you have been on the fence about purchasing a rotary tool, and really have no clue what you're doing then this kit offered by TECCPO is a must have purchase. The instructions on set up, bit changing, maintenance, and overall helpful information provided are easy to follow and greatly appreciated for a novice such as myself.I use this rotary tool for a multitude of purposes. I use the sanding drums for my dog's toenails as a rotary tool is far safer and gentle on a dog's nails. I am a modeler and war miniature painter so having various bits to cut into, trim, sand, and polish runners and mold lines is a major advantage to making your craft look advanced. I trim away mold lines on plastic and metal alike with the boring bits provided in the kit. I then use the various sanding drums to smooth the surfaces down. If the surface is large enough then the flat sanding disc are better. I then use the polishing wheel and provided compound to clean away any rough marks. The cutting disc are amazing when you need to alter a wheel well for a model car, cut off unwanted parts, or create openings for hoods, doors, and trunks. I've also found the tool helpful with household projects like trimming dried caulking around my tub.You never realize how handy a rotary tool is until you finally decide to purchase one. This specific tool has multiple speed settings that you'll want to experiment with on different surfaces. I've found setting 1 and 2 are great for polishing and light sanding. I use setting 1 for my dog's toe nails. To cut I like to crank it up to setting 5 for a nice clean cut.The body of the tool does get hot over time with extended usage, but this is the same for any tool with an enclosed motor spinning upwards of 15000 rpm. I can also see how this tool is not for heavy duty projects. This is more of a hobbyist and small household project tool. Give this tool a try. The price doesn't break the bank, and the accessories given are sure to be the ones you need for your use.
