Q: Is this light compatible with an appliance timer?

If you’re wanting to have it turn on at a certain time to wake you up, I don’t think that will work. Which stinks because it’s an awesome idea. The plug is a normal plug to technically it would work with a timer. However I don’t think there’s any way to keep the light switched on. It’s a push button and I think you will have to actually push the button to turn it on every time. If you find one with more like a switch that slides into an “on” position and there’s a separate “off” position, that would likely work.

Q: Is it okay if I leave on the clear plastic screen cover? I figure it will help protect the screen. Please let me know, thank you.

I think it would be fine because I don’t think it gets warm at all. Double check that it’s not warm after leaving on for a long period. This is just a guess.

Q: does this work for psoriasis on legs ?

No. I have psoriasis and it does not affect the spots on my face at all. You cannot buy a light therapy treatment lamp for that. You need to go to your dermatologist. I just finished such a treatment last month so I know exactly what you're talking about.
