Honestly good enough
Fine for non-critical systems / bench wiring. Definitely not 100% the same as genuine powerpoles, and wouldn't necessarily expect them to interoperate perfectly. That being said, they're wonderfully cheap and I'll gladly continue using them.

Connect fine with Anderson and non Anderson Powerpole connectors
1. They connect fine with my Anderson and other non Anderson connectors.2. They slide together nice with no biting. As good as Anderson and definitely better than others.3. I had no problem using the proper gauge wire with each connector. No melting as I use the correct wire size and length needed properly address the amperage/current.Seriously, the proper length and size wire cannot be overstated. Use the online calculator at Wirebarn and remember the length is shows in the calculator is one way (one wire), as the ground would typically be at the chassis near the component. If you are going to run both positive and negative wires the same length, you need to take that into account and divide by two.

Good value, but tight fit for grouped connectors
The open barreled 45 A contacts supplied readily accepted 10 and 12 Ga stranded wire, and a TC-1 crimping tool made tight and secure wire connections every time. The contacts were well made, and inserted into the supplied housings (and other Anderson type connector housings on hand), equally well. Sometimes there was resistance, but no worse (or better) than original Anderson housings. Once assembled, connection and separation with mating connectors (including those from several other sources) was readily accomplished and consistent. No voltage drops (or heating) of the connections was observed when running CIMs and other robot motors under load. However, as others have mentioned, interlocking two or more of these connector housings together results in very tight pairings - which in many cases could not be fully seated (or disassembled) without using pliers or a vise. Secure connectors are generally an advantage on a robot, but occasional disassembly is needed for repair or re-design, so one star was deducted. If disassembly of connector housing pairings is needed more often, then more than a one star rating reduction would probably apply.Connectors were shipped in a convenient small plastic storage box. After the contacts and housings were used, such boxes have proven useful for organizing small project parts. Will order again - this is a good value for 45 Amp Anderson type contacts and housings in moderate quantity.

Don't spend big bucks, look to Zixtec
These electrical plugs exceeded my expectations and it's for the proof that you don't have to spend top dollar on name brand products when there are so many great products out there of equal quality for less money. These plugs have been holding up nicely on my electric projects.

They fit but cannot handle what they claim they are rated for!
I've owned these and used them for nearly 2 years. Only recently did I discover a major problem because only recently did I try to get anywhere close to the limit of what they are rated for. @ 25 A the connector completely melted and damaged my terminals. I don't see how these things could handle 45 A. Unless you plan to use them only for low voltage/low current applications, I suggest spending more to get a higher quality connector.

Work well, would buy again.
Had no issues with these. I use them in pairs and the work well. They connect to every other power pole that i have. Connection is tight and secure.

Perfect connectors
I use these on all my Ham radio and model airplanes under 45 amp load.

Good deal
Powerpole isn't cheap in small numbers, but these are a pretty good deal for the basic black or red connectors.

Definitely not 40 amp connectors, either mislabeled or just garbage.
1. The metal contacts are thinner than Anderson Power Products 30 amp contacts. These are almost identical to APP 15 amp contacts.2. The contacts taper toward the tip, so there is less contact area than any of the other brands.3. The area to connect the wire will accommodate wire only up to 16 gauge, far short of the (minimum) 10 gauge needed for 40 amp. Good luck if you have a longer run and want to use 8 gauge. You get what you pay for.

Seems OK
Have not had time to use to afix wire and connect poles. Product looks good but can't actually state how good they are yet.
