I've been using an Android TV Box on my older but very well made flat panel tv for yrs now.. The old box was starting to have some odd issues.. So I decided to buy a newer version.. I'm glad I found this Amlogic made device.. It's simply the very best of it's kind. IMHO It's fast never slows down and simply works as good if not better than other devices of double the cost.. What I paid for this makes it a true bargain and sweetened the deal all the more.. If you can find one like it for what i paid buy it .. I don't think you'll regret it at all..

Happy with this tv box. Works well as long as you have a decent internet connection. The keyboard remote is especially helpful as some apps done seem to work with the smaller remote. It also allows for easier searching.

This box is full of bloatware apps that are not easily removed. Many are listed with the system apps. The home screen forces icons to launch apps that do not go away even if you remove the app. There is a private cloud app that leaves a big QR code on the screen too. Tried loading Indigo right away too. All the stuff running makes it really lag. I did not buy this with the plan to wipe it and go through an install myself so to me it was not even usable as it arrived.They default allow permissions for mic, camera, contacts, etc. so be careful what services you connect to!This looks like it had potential but it is just not usable like this.

My ROKU was old so I decided to get this box instead of another ROKU. It was a fast set up and has pre loaded apps. You can surf web and watch Netflix. Etc. Comes with all the cables and remote (no batteries in remote) the set up was instant. Instructions aren’t that fantastic but once I get exploring I’ll add another update hopefully. It’s compact and sleek. Very minimalist.

Received this Android box yesterday and so far, so good. Everything seems to be working fine without any issues.Will update review after using item more over time.

The sound quit coming through! It’s only 1 month old.. I have tried different TVs and hdmi!! Complete garbage.

Maybe but not likely there will be a software update to fix. Although the problems are intentional. No widgets because it identifies as a Lean back launcher. Using an alternate launcher doesn't solve this. Any app that uses overlay won't work either. There is no on screen navigation bar at the bottom, also no notification bar at the top. Despite these issues, I've run some benchmarks and it seems to be accurate to it's description so I'll probably use for games mostly. It does come with a fully modded Kodi but I'd recommend a VPN. My ISP makes Kodi pretty useless otherwise. Plug and play works fine with controllers, keyboard, mouse, and webcam. That's all I've tried but the webcam mic works for assistant and Alexa. Turning on root options and being smarter than me, someone else could probably tweak it to work more correctly. Overall it's fine but I wish it was more Android and less Android TV.
