BauerfeindGenuTrain S - Hinged Knee Brace Support - Advanced Stability of the knee joint

I injured my MCL skateboarding in March 2022. After a month and a half of not much improvement I ordered the Bauerfeind knee brace. I'm 155 lbs., a slim surfer build and I ordered a size 4 which fits perfect. I wore the brace often sometimes at night without tightening the straps. After several weeks my knee improved enough that I gave surfing a try wearing my knee brace. I took it easy and surfed small waves but the knee felt good and secure. I'm very satisfied with this knee brace. The high expense was worth it to me because it sped up my improvement. It's a dependable piece of equipment that I'll be using for awhile when I surf and do other active things.

I play senior basketball and I HIGHLY recommend this brace. I have "sloppy knees" and this is by far the best knee brace I have ever bought. I was only going to give them four stars, because I feel they are too pricey and for some reason the left and right models have different prices. But, they work so well I think they are worth the extra money. A number of pros use this brace.

The item was great, but it did not fit.Per measuring chart I needed a size 4. It totally stopped the blood flow to my knee.Item was returned the same day and a size 5 was ordered.Original purchase price plus return shipping was refunded. I had ordered it express shipping and that cost was refunded.Very smooth return operation.Suggestion: measure your knee very carefully and if unsure use a larger size!The larger one fit correctly and helped my support my knee.

It fits great, nice and snug, but not too snug. Fairly adjustable as well. Just make sure you measure like they say. The knee cap cup feels good while playing basketball. Very sturdy also. Don't really have to worry too much about hyper-extending my knee. The metal in it is substantial. I guess I might have been hoping for too much, though. My knee is a mess...very arthritic, and I definitely need knee surgery. I was hoping this might be a cure-all for my issues, but there is probably no knee brace that is going to help. This is definitely the nicest knee brace I have ever owned, and I have quite a few. You get what you pay for. Next step for me is surgery, and at least afterwards, if I can continue playing, this should last a good long time. Bauerfeind makes great stuff. I have their ankle brace for my Achilles tendon issues, and that works great.

I returned it because I have one that I can put OVER pants.

These really help the knees. The side supports are important

I measure on the cusp between 3 and 4 and found the 3 to be way too small. The 4 fits perfectly. I wound recommend sizing up if you measure close to the upper limit These braces are extremely well made and far outperform the over the counter drug store variety.
