This does exactly as shown. When I rubbed it on, at first I thought it was dull and didn't work, but once I put on the clear top coat, it sparkled perfectly!! I'm obsessed with this. And this small amount goes a very long way if you just put a tiny amount on the applicator that it comes with.

Didn’t work. Looks more like a glitter than a smooth chrome finish. Particles not fine and doesn’t really catch the light for a rainbow effect

Beautiful pigment. If you want the full effect of the holo you have to put the pigment onto a semi sticky surface rather than a no wipe top coat.

The pigment is hard to work with, more like glitter than holographic powder.Would not recommend this at all, it's a waste of money.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this product ain't it. First and foremost, there was so little product, it was only enough for one set of mid-length coffin nails. For someone with longer length nails, you would need two orders. Secondly, I have used holographic nail powders in the past that are much easier and effective. I know how to use holo powders and as a nail-tech with experience, this powder was very difficult to navigate. After tedious application and precise technique, the powder was clumpy in stages and resulted in a glitter/shimmer effect at best. There was no holographic effect. I tried this powder three times (three different nails only due to small product amount) each over three different colors. Higher quality holo powders generally give a holo effect on any color while the colors just give different hues and do not effect the holo intensity. I used this powder over black, bright blue and bright pink. With each color there was no holo effect in natural or artificial lighting. I even used two types of my own quality applicator brushes and two different brands of no-wipe topcoat. As you can gather, I desperately tried to make this powder work and it was a flop.
