Net seems sturdy
Would have preferred aluminum handle to wood. Otherwise fine.

Perfect dipnet.
Me and my kids dipnet often to feed our turtle a natural diet. This net is by FAR the best quality net on the market.

Doesn't look like the picture (13 inch thin handle)
Its okay for $10. Handle is 13 inches long, not 27 inches. Net hoop is triangular not round (8x8x8 inches, so not sure if a softball would fit in it). Wood handle is thin like a wimpy broomstick (that would probably fit the hoop). The picture is deceptive. Worth $10. Probably fine for Bluegill, nothing bigger. It's more like a cheap fishing toy. Hoop is crimped onto handle and pretty loose and needs a through bolt.

Great little fishing net for kids catching small rock fish ...
Great little fishing net for kids catching small rock fish and other tiny lake fish. We bought this net to replace an older net that lasted around 30 years of use. The reason, its built with Wood and metal and actually lasts. Almost all nets that you can buy are crappy hollow plastic handled junk where this net seems well built. I'm glad I went with this net.

Great "Creeking" Net for Kids
These small, inexpensive nets are perfect for my kids to use for butterflies and for catching minnows and crayfish in the creek. So far, they have withstood some abuse. Much sturdier than the cheap under $5 nets you might find at a dollar store, Target, or Walmart.
