Comfortable right out of the box. These are well-made, great-fitting, gorgeous boots!

Gorgeous, comfy & expensive looking!

These boots are comfortable and they look nice with jeans. I have a larger foot and I have no problem wearing these boots for a long period of time. I even walked over a mile in them and I had no problem. I have the brown & the black.

Got these in several sizes to try and really glad I did. The 6.5W is bigger than than it should be lengthwise, but the width was perfect. They're longer than a 7M, but wider toe box than a 7M. The first pair I got was a little wonky. So was the second pair. Upon closer inspection, each shoe in second pair had the same try-on markings from a previous customer. No big deal, right? Except One shoe was missing the size sticker on the bottom, and each shoe had a different stamp inside (although they said the same size, but each was made in a different color and had diffent info overall), and each shoe was a markedly different color! I didn't notice these discrepancies as much in the first pair as I did the second. Turns out the left shoe in the first order and the right shoe in the second order was the actual matching set. And vice versa. When paired properly, one set overall, and the reason I originally requested a replacement, is just not right. While I like the color better, overall the pair is fits much bigger and lacks the same amount of cushioning in the foot as the good pair. It's like there was a mix up somewhere in the factory for the matching shoes, and somewhere there was a big calibration problem for the additional set. My first pair was brand new in the box. The second pair had obviously been tried on by someone else already and the box was different than that of the first pair. So anyway, returned the actual matching pair that's more too long and doesn't have as much cushioning. These are still wonky in length but I'm willing to overlook it and wear an extra pair of socks. But be warned they aren't the overall fit you'd expect.

This is my second pair of the Lucky Women's Basel Boot. My first pair was purchased from the brick & mortar Lucky Brand store last Thanksgiving weekend. I absolutely fell in LOVE with that first pair in the Toffee color. My only complaint was that it was a little tight across the ball of my feet but that was easily remedied by taking them to my local shoe repair and having them stretched. Once I did that they were perfect! So perfect in fact that when I saw them here on Amazon I jumped at the chance for another pair, this time in the Italian Olive suede. This pair was perfect right out of the box with no need for stretching which I attributed to the material being suede and softer by nature. And the rubber sole means no slippery break-in time - they feel like sneakers! I've worn them about a half dozen times now (one day walking all over downtown) and they are amazingly comfy and supportive as is the first pair in Toffee. They have the perfect heel height for comfort AND style. I've worn both pairs with skinny jeans, skirts and dresses and I get compliments every time. My only note about sizing is that I usually wear a 7 in closed toe shoes but found the 7 to be a bit too big so sized down to a 6.5 which fits like a glove. My feet are narrow so I'm not sure how gals with wider feet would do in these boots especially given that I needed the first pair stretched a bit, but I refuse to wear shoes that are even a tiny bit uncomfortable so maybe those that don't have that as a priority won't mind a little snug-ness around the balls of the feet. I've read that some who bought these boots felt they haven't held up well, especially when worn in wet weather. This has not been my experience. In fact I just wore the Olive suede ones many days in a row and as I mentioned above walking all over downtown one day and they still look gorgeous and brand new. We've had a ton of rain lately, but I did not wear them in the wet weather because I didn't want them to get wrecked as is my habit whenever it gets rainy. I generally wear rain boots or water proofed UGGS when it rains so I don't ruin my nicer shoes, but that's easy for me since I live in SoCal and we have long dry spells between wet weather. Hope this review helps those who are considering these awesome boots. My advice: BUY THEM! For this price they are fantastic! I may actually get a third pair! ;-)

Very good quality of the boots. It took me forever to find my size. I wear 8 and started from that and it was too tight, then I changed it on 8W and then 9W. I ended up with 8.5W. It’s a bit loose, and I wanted that effect since it’s not dress shoes and I want to wear it with thick socks later in a Fall. Maybe, just 8.5 would be the best, but I already tired to change them. They look stylish and classy. The leather looks great. I haven’t wear them outside yet, but it feels as they should be comfy.

Nice looking boots! The color of the leather matches picture exactly. HOWEVER, it’s a very WEIRD FIT. I ordered a wide. The toe box is snug, yet the heel is overly wide and spacious. The boot’s heel slips up and down with each step. Basically, the boot is widened in the wrong place.

I am very fond of these boots! Nice, real leather. I ordered the wide width plus a 1/2 size larger and my custom orthotic fits fine. That is working well. Comfortable even though heel slips a little, but not a major issue. I like the dark caramel hue. The only complaint I have: the leather scuffs easily. I have had to cover over with brown waxy shoe polish when that happens. I also bought them in black. The heel height is fashionable but not so high that it causes me pain. A nice, all purpose bootie.

These booties are adorable but they are perforated as I was hoping! Colour Brindle perf I was a little nervous ordering booties online as I have foot issues and I’m a Hoka, Birkenstock Reiker person. These are very comfortable!! Definitely will be getting another pair.

I’m always hesitant to purchase shoes online but very glad I took the chance! I LOVE these booties! I am a server and am on my feet all day and these booties are super comfy! I have wider feet and they fit just right! The double zipper on each boot is awesome, the heel is not to low and not too high and the look is very cute! Lots of compliments on them so far! Would definitely recommend!
