This worked really well with my cart. The 3 prong connector held charge connector in solidly. The previous charger (a different brand) didn't fit in the charge port snuggly enough and would fault frequently because of bad connection. This is definitely better.I also got this one because it maintains battery voltage. Once the batteries are fully charged it monitors battery charge and trickle charges it to maintain top voltage. Some don't do that.Price seemed good.Things I would like improved:- I wish it had algorithms for charging lithium.- I prefer passive cooling. An active fan is more electric waste and something to go wrong.- It blinks red for certain phases of charging. Red is usually a flag that something is wrong. A "Percent full" LED would be ideal. But avoiding red lights except for faults would be acceptable.

After too much time finding an alternative to OEM charger I pulled the trigger on this one. It is better than described. Very light, quiet - and I feel very comfortable that it is maintaining my new batteries at peak charge during the summer heat.

This smart charger fully chargers my golf cart battery fully each and every time. My old charger only charged my batteries once they were way down and then it would only partially charge them. Works great and was substantially less expensive that a new OEM charger.

While looking for a charger for my golf cart, I was more into the original ones. Those were costly, and I was not sure about this one. However, after reading a couple of reviews I decided to go with this one. And, it did not upset me. With the price, safety, weight and look, I am happy that I bought this one. 100% I recommend this to my friends.
