I think this is a very cute, functional puzzle but I think having different colors is kinda like a cheat. I’m 90% sure my child has figured out the two of the same color go together and that kind of defeats the purpose of matching by rhyming word.

This is a great puzzle for working on phonological awareness. There is a wide variety of rhyming words and the puzzle pieces are sturdy and well-sized for toddler hands.
