Wedding Flowers

Great book for people getting married. Was looking at this for my wife for our wedding. Had a great selection of pictures and helped us with choosing the flowers we wanted to go with on our wedding day. If you are getting married its a great book to have.

I had made an arrangement at this hotel I was working for in San Francisco, and a guest at the hotel requested me personally to arrange the flowers for her wedding and immediately flipped out.. considering I didn't know a dang thing about flowers, I had gone to the flower market and was just going with it and having fun. So, I did my research and found this book.This book was great because it had an encyclopedia of common flowers (which was nice!), many beautiful techniques. It was definitely a great reference. :)The author breaks it down into seasons and themes, so she helps you determine which is in season and what not.. haha And the photos are spectacular!

This is another great book of Paula's and a must for the bride to be who is considering doing he own flowers. It is also a helpful guide so that you can compose ideas on design, color, style, and avalibilty of flowers for the season you are getting married, before you go to a florist. This book covers, bouquets, boutonnieres, flowergirl baskets and head pieces, table settings,as well as the event area. I find I am never disappointed with a Paula Pryke book. I learn something every time I open one.

Wasn't really what I was looking for or expecting. I wish I'd been able to see more of the inside of the book than what was offered before purchasing. Some people might find it helpful, I didn't.

My instructor recommended book and said it is useful when working with clients on floral designs, especially when creating wedding designs.

This book had a variety of options to choose from. Not only does it show you the different tyoes of flowers it tells you the background on weddings, flowers, etc. It also gives instructions on how to arrange a few items. I think this was a great book!

This book has practical tips for making beautiful floral arrangements. Very inspirational for brides and their florists. Love the pictorial directions!

I've bought quite a few books by Paula Pryke, they're easy to follow, practical and visually beautiful. An inspiration in the world of floristry. I would definitely recommend her books to anyone interested in flowers or floristry as a profession.My books are always at hand for reference.

If you like flowers and weddings, buy this book! My daughter asked me to arrange her (very simple) bouquet so I bought this for ideas. I've decided to seek help from the florist doing the rest of the wedding flowers because I'm totally inexperienced, but with some basic skill, time, practise and an eye for colour and detail, it would be possible to use this book to save a fortune. The instructions are straightforward and the photography beautiful. I'm keeping this one even after the wedding is over!
