Venustas Women’s 3-in-1 Heated Jacket with Battery, Waterproof Jacket with Hood for Skiing

This is a great coat! It has many very high end features!Zippers and velcro- The zippers are all great quality and all have a very nice and grippy zipper pull. The velcro on the outside of the outer layer of coat really seals it from the wind. The velcro is the new "lower nap" sort so that while it sticks to itself very well it is less likely to catch on other fabric. There is a sano top and bottom to completely seal the coat. This jacket is very water repellant as well and the hood gave me good protection when I got caught in the rain. The hood actually has many good features in that it is removable as well as adjustable! There is a velcro tab on the back for size adjustments as wells as a draw string to pull it close to your face. They also put velcro at the wrist so that you can adjust them!Pockets- the outer pockets on the windbreaker layer are large enough to be useful and have zippers! The lining is silky material and I think I'd like them to be fleecy and therefore warmer, but that's minor. Inside the wind breaker is a nice zipper pocket on the left breast. Outside the windbreaker is a great zipper pocket on the right breast. The fleece inner jacket has pockets that are fleecy, as you would expect! Also the battery pocket is inside on the left. There is a fabulous little pocket in a pocket to hold the battery, but there is plenty of room for other items as well!The button for the heater is inside on the left side. I LOVE that it's inside because I don't feel like anyone needs to know if I have my heat turned on!Attaching the two layers of coats is accomplished with a snap tab at each wrist and one at the back of the neck as well as the two big zippers.Size- I found it to run true to size, but it is a heavy coat as would be expected. It is two layers of coat plus it has a battery in it. If you are looking for a light weight coat, this would not be for you. If you are looking for a WARM coat, this is it!!Customer service- I had some difficulty with the coat and I have to say the customer service is VERY responsive and helpful! I couldn't ask for better.Overall- I would certainly recommend this coat. It is very warm, water repellent, and has many thoughtfully placed pockets!

Starting with the positive, the design of this jacket is great. It comes with an inner and outer shell, which is standard for many of this type. I work in outdoor construction and the style is very flattering for women. I can separate they inner and outer shell in the event I want just a rain jacket or just a fleece. Also, on its own, the fleece itself is very warm. I ordered a size small, which was perfect for my body of 5’-8” height and 125 lb weight. The only issue I had was with the heating element. After reading so many reviews about how toasty this jacket is, I was severely let down. I charged the battery pack as described in the instructions, tested that all three heating levels were functional and prepared to be amazed. You can imagine my surprise when I wore this jacket during this past winter in NY, which was mild, and received barely any heat. On the high setting, my inside jacket (fleece) was lukewarm at best after over 45 minutes. I tried it on different days throughout the winter to be sure it had an issue. To add insult to injury, my coworker bought a knockoff heating element jacket from Temu was $25 and got the same level of heat in his product. I ended up keeping the jacket because at that point, I still needed a fleece for work. I think I may have just received a defective heating element though. Overall, it’s a great jacket.After reaching out to customer service, I spoke to Mandy who was a delight. We did some testing to find out if the jacket or the battery was the issue. My battery turned out to be fine. However, since I was still having heating issues, the company sent me a 2023 model of the same jacket. Upon testing, the testing elements were definitely warmer. I am satisfied with the customer service of the company. I would recommend the brand based on their treatment of customers and their determination to make sure everyone is satisfied with their purchase. My jacket is now way warmer and I can’t wait to use it next winter!

I initially got a S size of this. It worked really well but I realized it was a bit puffy for me. Then the Black Friday deal came in and I saw the XS size became cheaper so I went on to trying it.It fit way better but I realized the heating connection didn't work as best as the one I got for S size.As for the overall product, I should say I like it very much overall but it misses a couple of things to make it perfect.The parts I love:- hidden button- good heating (when it works)- good fit- good quality materials- comes with the battery package- there are heating zones in both pockets, even though the battery can be placed in an inner pocket in the same area.The parts I don't like:- battery doesn't last long. It's 5000mAh and there are available ones at 10000. An upgrade should be considered.- tells you to wash it within a mesh bag, but doesn't provide it- heating zones are not adjustable. As a cold person with severely cold hands, I would have preferred choosing to heat up just the pockets more than anywhere else. With this one, I need to make peace with the fact that I will have burning shoulders to keep my hands warm.I also don't mind the expensive price point, but I expected the negatives to be removed as well with such a premium price.The negatives are the only reason I reduced a star. Otherwise it's a great product. It can be perfect with very small adjustments.

I live in Canada, but originally I’m from a warmer place. The winter in Canada can be difficult for me especially when I have to work outside. I always wanted to try the heated clothing, so I gave this one a try. To be honest, this is one of my favorite purchases ever. The coat can be separated to a jacket and not only it’s very comfortable it keeps you warm and nice. I got a size S and it fits perfect.There are few heated clothing companies out there, but I’ll definitely recommend buying Venustas not only because the coat is great, but their costumer service is excellent. I had a problem and after a while the connection of the coat and the battery didn’t work. I contacted Venustas costumer service and they answered very fast. At first they thought that maybe the issue could be the battery so they sent me a new battery. When I tried the battery there was still an issue and I let them know of that, they decided to send me a new coat from their new 2023 line. The communication with their costumer service was truly exceptional, I had a lot happening in my life so I did not respond to their emails fast, because of that I communicated with more than one representative. And every representative I spoke to was truly great. I spoke to Chloe, Allyssa and Yusi. They were very helpful and I’m thankful for their help.If I could give 10 stars I would.

Pros:- bought x-small. I'm 5'3", slim build- heating works- having an outer jacket keeps heat in the jacketcons:- false advertising, purposely bought a 5v 10,000mah battery as stated in the title, however, jacket came in with a 7.4v 5000 mah battery. Not the same plug, not the same capacity. You want the 5v USB-A head because you can use other battery banks in the future. Yes, there are other power banks with 7.4v output, but not as common as USB-A- seller did apologize and made it right by sending an extra battery, which I appreciate very much- the jacket sleeve inner lining ripped on day 2! I have to re-sew it myself. Seller provided an additional discount, which is fine, but in the end, it's a hassle- inner jacket's zipper isn't reversible, to remove the lining, one must reach between the 2 layers unzip from the inside. It's not horrible, but a reversible zipper would have solved this (husband has a similar jacket from another brand that has this type of zipper)Overall, appreciate the seller trying to make things right - no one is perfect. That said, I'd rather they just sell the correct version up front, or change their title to reflect the actual product they're trying to sell.

Nice coat, I took xsmall. could be a little smaller for me.The battery I got is only 5000 instead of 10000 and the plug on the coat is dc and not usb as the description was stating. Good service from the company. They told me that they update the battery to a 7.4V. A little bit disappointed because it's more easy to be get a new battery with usb.

I have never loved a jacket that I've bought as much as I love this. I was honestly expecting to be disappointed, but I love everything about it. It's really good quality, even how it's packaged and the waterproof bag it comes in is nice. The liner fits so securely to the exterior shell. It fits me perfectly, I'm 6' 130lbs and got a small. The hood is removable or rollupable. This is perfect together and each separately. The exterior can be worn on its own and even has an interior pocket. The shell has fuzzy interior sleeves, which I love. The heat control botton is on the inside and colour changing based off the setting. The entire jacket and each layer are stylish enough to wear separately. The interior pocket has its own special pocket just to hold the battery pack. The cord you use to connect the jacket is good quality. The battery pack has two USB ports, one micro USB and one type C. One of the USB ports gets used to power the liner. As soon as the battery is plugged a numerical display lights up to tell you the percent charge left. The battery pack reminds me of the slidout keyboard cell phones, it's about the same size and weight. I honestly could not be happier with this jacket, I love everything about it.

Bought this jacket for my wife.She says it fits good and is warm.We've only had it for a short time, so not to sure about the battery life yet
