Pawbo Plus Interactive Pet Camera powered by ACER: Smart WiFi HD Video Camera with 2-Way Audio, Treat Dispenser with Dog and Cat Laser Pointer

Bought this for my wife to be able to watch and interact with our cat - the idea is great, but the picture quality was awful (akin to an early-2000s webcam).After a few issues setting it up (normal setup failed, wps didn't work and I finally had to configure it in access point mode), I got connected and thought I must have the wrong settings because the picture quality was terrible. Connected through 4g and was hit by buffering (a small tortoise at the top of the screen indicates this). Tried various settings to no improvement.My broadband is 380+Mbps down / 37+Mbps up; my 4g is 70+Mbps down / 29+Mbps up. Buffering should not happen.Did a bit of investigation and found my VirginMedia SuperHub3 router can cause buffering on Ring Doorbell/Camera technologies, so figuring this could be a similar problem I bought a new router (ASUS RT-AC86U Wi-Fi AC2900) and tried that. Same setup issues (main setup didn't work, nor wps), and same low quality picture and buffering. (New router has noticeably improved my Network Attached Storage, Sonos, FireTVs, etc. though!)Limited technical/troubleshooting documentation online, so I just returned it.The treat dispenser and laser pointer worked well, and the audio was good.

Good overall product. I hang mine on the wall with its wall mount and my dog is in love with it! The wps did not work but with the app I was able to connect in a couple of minutes.After a Couple of weeks with the camera at home I actually very impressed! I’m more calm regarding leaving my dog at home alone and found out that we actually loves to sleep in its crate. :)

I would put more sound.The microphon quality not the best.

Very good product. Well-built and every spec works as is supposed to. I had some trouble connecting via WPS, but it took me 2 min to do it via the app, so no problem. The laser point works well, and the treat dispenser does a good job, the video as a very good image.Overall, I'm very pleased with my pawbo.

From what I can tell so far I’ve just paid £140 for a camera that does not have night vision!! I’m furious.Also I haven’t yet tried the treat facility. I just read some less biased reviews than those on amazon and apparently the treat is only dropped not propelled further than the device.There’s no way that my dog / most pets should be able to access this directly. There’s cables, electrical parts etc.I’m returning mine immediately.

We had an easy time unboxing and setting up the device. The camera/app works quite well for us to monitor our dog and we love using the treat dispenser. We also like the laser point feature - it turns off fairly quickly as well so we don't have to worry about it going on forever. Highly recommend this product!

I cannot say enough about Pawbo - it is amazing! I did a lot of research before purchasing this product and was nervous about getting it connected to my wifi, but I got the Pawbo connected with no problems in less than 5 minutes! My kitties and I love it. They come right up to the camera whenever they hear me log in to it when I am gone and wait for a treat or for me to turn on the laser! I love that it allows you to take pictures and I attached one to show the quality of the video! Customer Service is very receptive and helpful as well, you can tell that they really want to make their customers happy and have the best experience with their pets!

I LOVE this product! I really went back and forth ordering because I didn’t know if it would be worth the money, but it’s definitely worth it! I travel here and there so having this allows me to interact with my kitty while away. When I open the app, the camera makes a doorbell sound and she’ll come running when she hears that. Her favourite part is the laser. She also loves the treat dispenser. It also takes great pictures, allows you to talk to your cat, and play sounds like birds chirping. Overall great product and will make my kitty even happier!
