Can never go wrong with Enid Blytons! Children will just love this fantasy world , treat them to joy of reading good english with loads of imagination.

My 5yr old although cannot read it but enjoys listening to it every night. Good book to inculcate reading habit apart from Geronimo Stiltons.

I read these stories as a child and decided after so many decades to revisit them myself.This edition appears to be the original text, without any editing or alteration and has the older, original [?] illustrations.I have also ordered the allegedly unedited version of the Faraway Tree series, also published by Egmont/Dean - this fact otherwise would have gone unnoticed if it wasn`t for the Amazon user "Denis Poisson" who pointed out these editions were not adulterated.This hardback copy sold by "eStockbay UK" was in very good condition.

I remember these story as a child and so bought this edition believing it didn't have the updated text as shown in the images, I enjoyed it but only 4 stars as it wasn't the edition I thought I was getting

Great books and good content. Recommend buying for the kids aged 5 - 8 who are interested in reading.

I read this book as a child and loved it because of the magical adventures! Some fifty years later I thought that. I would purchase the kindle version to see if I was still impressed by it after all this time and I am. I am sure that youngsters today would appreciate it as the chapters are quite short and there are lots of adventures.
