Chamomile Tea 250g 8.8 oz by Alpi Nature, Dried Chamomile Flowers, Loose Tea, Camomile Tea

I'm treating a serious illness with self-taught TCM formulas, and Chamomile is an important element. The extreme effectiveness of my remedies proves the quality of this Chamomile, and I've already ordered it several times. If you're eating Nexium like candy trying to put out horrific fire in your gut, try this:* Put 1 cup (yes, a whole cup!) of this Chamomile into a glass pitcher. Fill to the 1 L mark with water freshly boiled from your kettle. Cover with a plate or lid. Let it steep for 1 hour. Strain off, and set aside.* Add 6 heaping tablespoons of dried Marshmallow Root (you can find it in bulk on Amazon) and 1 pint of cold water to another glass pitcher. Cover and let refrigerate for 10 hours (or overnight). This is called a "cold infusion" and will pull all kinds of slimy goo out of the marshmallow root, which is awesome for coating the GI track. Once this is ready, pour the whole thing into a large pot and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, strain off and discard the herbal material. (Don't try to strain it cold or the goo will be too thick.) Now you basically have slimy water. Set aside.* Add 600 ml cold water to a pot. Add 20 g of Dang Shen root. Best if you break up the roots a bit in your blender first to help its nutrients get into the water better. If you can't find this Chinese herb, try Baldwin's out of London (their website is great). Bring this to a boil. Keep the lid on the whole time. Boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Let steep another 10 minutes. Now take off the lid and strain off herbal material.*Combine all three of your final liquids into a big pot. Stir about a bit, and there you go. Dilute 50/50 with hot/warm water, and sip throughout the day, and especially whenever you need to digest something. If you need extra strength, reduce how much water you dilute each serving with. Store the extra in glass jars or covered pitchers in your fridge for up to 3 days. The gut burning/ulcer pain/heartburn issues will stop IMMEDIATELY when you drink it. Absolutely incredible. Staying on this longterm will give your gut a chance to restore itself. Consider also kicking up your daily nutrient intake with bee pollen (in yogurt) or oat grass powder (in milk) a couple times a day as well to help the healing process. This herbal mix is way more effective than Nexium and it even beats out the now banned Ranitidine. Literally saved my hubby's life. So yep, I give this product 5 stars! Best of luck to any other gut sufferers out there!

The dried flowers are in excellent condition and they make wonderful tea.The packaging is strong and looks attractive.

When I received it I did as usual and spooned quantity into my screw top tea jar and rest sealed in bag with clip. Last night when I opened my tea container there was a white fly type insect inside the lid which I killed and then found there was movement in the container!!. I closed the twist lid jar and then had to seal it and bag with remainder in sealed plastic bag for disposal. This has never happened before. It was disgusting. Over many years bought them in Greece and there was never problem like this. They were always stored in same way.My daughter bought first bag from you for xmas last year and this is my second time reordering. I have had to bin the tea with fastening clips, and my container. I await your comments.

Great taste, good price for the amount received!

I was quite happy with this herbal tea. It arrived quickly, the price is good and you can tell it lives up to its statement that it is "pure and natural". The packaging keeps the dried flowers nice and fresh smelling. It doesn't come with a built-in zip to reseal it, so I just used a clip since I have many of these in my kitchen.Of course, the most important thing is the brew itself. You can see in the picture I've included that it comes out a pleasant golden color. I've definitely had more aromatic chamomile teas, but then again my sense of smell isn't very pronounced. When it comes to taste, the chamomile is there, obviously, but I would say the taste is a bit subdued. I think some would say weak, but I'll stick with subdued or mild. I actually think this is quite nice, but if you absolutely love the flavor of chamomile, you might be let down a little.I think what it comes down to is the fact that the stems are still attached to the flowers. I've had other loose varieties of chamomile where it's just the buds and petals, which are the true source of the flavor I believe. By leaving the stems attached, the brew that results is a bit weaker. Moreover, the stems decrease the mass of the buds/petals, at least proportionally speaking, that you receive in your 250g package.I would not knock this herbal tea at all, but I think they should rethink the inclusion of the stems. They slightly mute the tea's flavor and deliver less value.

I was looking for loose leaf for my infuser, which these are, without the bags which usually contain plastic.
