Never knew I needed this till we got one
This was my wife's call. She wanted the instant hot water. I was of the opinion that you could just boil water if needed. She was right. My advice, get a charcoal filter (a big one) and attach it to the line. You will be amazed at how often you will use the cold water side in comparison to the hot. I fill up my glass from the fridge and then use this faucet to fill with water all the time. The wife uses the hot water side for tea and coffee as well as sterilization of mason jars.Took one star off for the jacked up installation instructions. They should just put labels on the holes (cold water in, cold water out, hot water out).

Love the double handle faucet.
I’ve had the InSinkErator brand in the past and was happy with it, but I really wanted the double handled faucet, so this won out. Install was quick as I have a RO system, and just replaced the faucet with the new and connected the unit. On start up, I turned the temp control all the way up, and that was way too high. It spit, sputtered, and emitted so much steam it fogged up the kitchen windows. After turning it down a little, it has worked perfectly.

Looks great, but hot water tastes like plastic
This would be five stars if I could use hot water for drinking, as intended. After two months, there is still an overpowering plastic flavor that makes green tea undrinkable. Even coffee tastes stale or off. If you've ever drank water out of a garden hose that was sitting out in the hot sun as a kid, it's about like that. I've replaced all 1/4" lines with FEP tubing just in case, and the contact time with the silicone hose is so short upon dispensing, I doubt that's the cause. The only thing I can think of is that the tank itself (on the lower power) model is plastic. I really only use it to save a little time boiling water for noodles. I don't even use it for instant soups.Thankfully the cold water works well and tastes great with a filter. The faucet blends in perfectly with my existing brushed nickel faucet and was relatively easy to install. Keep in mind not to cut the plastic ties for the base otherwise you'll need two people to position it.

update. problem resolved. Tank will not fill
Finally, I have instant hot water. It was a defective faucet. Joneca ended up sending a new tank, then a new faucet. The new faucet did fix the problem. In the end, customer service came through, but only after a long troubleshooting list. Joneca was great in honoring the warranty and working with me long after the purchase date of 12/2018.I also added a booster pump (before replacing the tank or the faucet to see if the pressure was the problem. It was not.)I have called customer service for troubleshooting several times, it has been a slow process. They only have one person to answer questions and they are in a different time zone than me. Plus they only seem to work about 5 hours a day.I had hired a handyman to install the instant hot and an RO system. After several calls to Joneca (RH100) and following their suggestions nothing seems to improve. It was suggested by the RO company that a booster pump be installed, so we did that. And still no water in the tank. This is my 3rd instant hot water install under my sink over the course of 10 years. I know how these are supposed to work. Could it be the faucet???Bottom line, Joneca needs better customer service.

Great item, quick and easy install. Couldn't be happier.
This is my first foray into instant hot water dispensers. We like a clean, uncluttered counter top in the kitchen, and often left our electric kettle sitting out. Got tired of it, so started looking for a good deal on Amazon. I was a little concerned about the quality of this item, due to the 2 poor reviews vs 1 positive one. Well, I figured I couldn't lose buying it from Amazon, so I took the plunge. Boy oh boy am I glad I did.First of all, if you've been looking at this type of unit, you know they aren't cheap. For roughly $200 usually you only get a tank, and can spend another $200 for the faucet. Ouch, that's a lot a cash. For $207 with the tank AND faucet, this is the best deal going. I happen to really like the way the faucet looks, as it more-or-less matches our sink faucet, but of course, that's a matter of opinion. The installation was pretty much a breeze, once I figured out what I was doing. It came with almost everything I needed, with the exception of a sufficient length of polyethylene tubing and a method to attach the cold water supply to the unit. I bought a length of 1/4" poly tubing from HD, and an adapt-a-valve to tie it in. Oh, and if you didn't already know, it just plugs in to a standard 3-prong outlet, it's not hardwired. So you need to run an outlet under your sink (GFCI please).Anyway, I used the supplied poly tube for the hot supply, and the HD poly tubing for cold (don't know if the HD stuff is rated for high temperatures). Including extending a circuit under my sink, grand total it took me an hour and a half. Once I was certain there were no leaks, I plugged it in, and 20 minutes later I had hot water. Easy-peasy.Oh yeah, the method of securing the faucet to the counter is pure genius. There's a hinged washer you drop through the hole in the counter, then pull tight with the attached plastic lanyard thingy. Put the base on the counter then run the screws down and through the washer. Bam, that's it. No crawling under your sink with a wrench and cussing loud enough for the neighbors to hear. The only downside I see, and I'm sure this applies to all of them, is it's huge. I doubt it's any larger than the others, but I wasn't expecting it to take up so much space. It took a little effort to find just the right spot and angle to make it work, but ultimately it was fine. Just thought I should mention it if you have a cramped space to deal with.I've attached a couple of pictures, in particular pics of the proper adapter you need to attach to your cold water tap. Hopefully it will make sense. In the meantime,Official Seal of Approval applied.

Very high demand in our family
This is a good unit.Reason 1 - very easy to install. Although some nipples are slightly different when they has to be exactly the same, those are easy to fix. Other than that part, everything else was pretty simple it literally took me an hour to install. Needless to say, I’m not a professional or even studied/educated.

Works great
The 1/4" line that comes with the unit is a little crappy, so just spent $6 on a piece of hose and a couple connectors and it works great!
