very good for practice
I bought it for motions training, but seems good enough for sparring too. Nice plastic scabbard. My katana fits in and looks even better than original. Some reviews call it bokken which is supposed to be mush wide. Put it next to katana and this one is just a bit wide.

nice quality
plastic sword is reasonably heavy more the balance of a wood sword than a real one. bought it to train with my kids and seems very good until now/

Definitely worth buying, if you're interested
The customer service is impeccable. In my case, the wrong item was sent and I was personally emailed for this reason. I immediately returned the item and received the correct one two days after submitting the return, despite Amazon predicting that it would take a week to be delivered. The sword comes in sheathed and you will need to unsheathe it in order to attach the hand guard, unless you prefer it without. However, sword feels a little tight in the sheath so you will need to do a bit of muscle work to sheathe and unsheathe it, but besides that, it's a wonderful item, definitely worth using for cosplay, combat training, display, etc.

Perfection
I'm 5'9, so a 29' inch blade is perfect. Note that different katana sizes, are made for different heights. I uploaded a chart for further details.

it's a bokken not a katana
Bokken are much more wider and don't have the profile of a katana

Please Bring This Item Back
This is the only bokken that comes with a solid, quality scabbard. Please bring it back or let us know where to buy them.

Practical but basic
Sturdy as any other standard polypropylene bokken I've tried, but a bit pricey just for the inclusion of a (not so sturdy) plastic saya. It does the trick for training purposes and, the bokken at least, is *virtually* indestructible. Anyone hoping to receive a polypropylene sword should avoid this one though, because it is a bokken. All in all not bad, but a bit expensive for what it is.
