My 14 year old washer stop working the day after Thanksgiving. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and was told it would be anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks before it would arrive. When it finally was delivered on January 29th, I was surprised (and not happily) to find that the electric plug on the dryer was 4 prong and my wall socket would only take a 3 prong plug. I called my electrician and he informed me that all I should need was an adapter and I could probably find one at Home Depot or Lowes. Well, guess what! Neither store had the adapter in stock and it would have to be ordered and would cost between 70 and 80 dollars. My electrician then suggested that I go online to Amazon and order the plug. I found the plug and since I have Amazon Prime, I didn’t have to pay for shipping. I ordered that same day (1/29) and it was delivered 2/1. I can now use my dryer and I am a very ‘Happy Camper’.

It's a plug adapter, what more do you need to know? Both ends plug into the ends they are supposed to plug into. I'm just glad this product exists so I can do laundry.

Absolutely the best product I’ve ever purchased ignore the “it’s a bit pricey” comments literally your saving HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT! so I live in an old apartment complex well the outlet was sadly a 3 prong and I needed a 4 prong I was totally scared buying it looking at the picture trying to see if it would fit my steamer Samsung dryer but it is absolutely perfect fit don’t have to get a different dryer or pay for a different outlet to be installed! It is totally worth every penny of 37$ that’s with taxes ! I got it the very next day with prime shipping after ordering it worth the wait and worth my money definitely will be bragging on this product for a while thank you Amazon !

I had a brand new dryer that I brought into a really old apartment. This converted it to the older wiring super easily.

We moved into an older home that had a 3 prong outlet but our dryer was 4 prong. I called Home Depot and Menards and they both told me I either had to attach a new cord or change the outlet in the wall. After a bit of research, I found this! I was skeptical but it did work! You plug the little green wire into the bottom hole of a normal outlet and you are set. Worked like a charm!! A bit pricey but a huge time saver
