CW-G 4-Way Cross Wedge

Cuts time in half but has broke attachment bolt several times. Drilled out to 3/8 with grade 8 bolt still breaks if it binds..going to weld it on

This has cut my splitting time in less than half, but it has a tendency to push the log off the ends of the side wings - sometimes so much that the log doesn't split completely. If the wings were longer and angled inward, it would help keep the log from pushing off like that. Most logs, however - as can be seen in the photo - split just fine.

I use this on my timberwolf it fits perfect I had to drill a hole to bolt it no biggie just have patience for those of you who know about timber wolf they seem to have their own little world of overcharging people it is an inch and 1/16 wide in the opening fits over the blade perfect I ended up paying after all was said and done maybe sixty bucks for this thing timberwolf wants like 250 and yes I built a table out of wood and 2 by 2 steel plywood that is free they want like 550 bucks for theirs never again will I buy a timber wolf

I put this on a 1978 Didier after restoration and although it required grinding 1/8” off on the inside width. It fits very nicely and not only more productive I’m also not needing to run the ram until the end of its stroke before it separate them. I like the design an seems very well made.

Mounted on a Northstar 37 ton Auto Loader with the addition of a drilled hole through to hold in place. Works great and I am now quartering logs ready to burn.

I drilled a hole through the wedge on my splitter and mounted. It is not a perfect fit but seems to work okay. I have a 27 ton splitter with an 8hp Tecumseh engine. NOT a Boss.

This does not fit my splitter and I have contacted both Amazon and the seller trying to return the unit. Neither has answered and I basically have a $100 hunk of metal in my garage. The main issue is that this does not have a guide rail to fit a Champion 27 ton splitter so do not buy this if you are using Champion branded splitter.

Good quality, works well on smaller logs not for 2’ dia logs very happy would buy again
