I first tried dried fish in Iceland a few years ago but I've found it hard to find any in the UK that is affordable. This is still expensive but I thought I would try it and it is really tasty. The only downside is that whoever packed it must have been wearing really strong cologne/aftershave as all the packs stank of it. I'm allergic to fragrance so I had to wear gloves and wash them all before I could try any, which was quite annoying. It would be preferable for anyone handling food items to avoid wearing fragrance, and if they must, they should wear gloves before handling food items. Even people without fragrance allergies/sensitivities don't really want their food to smell of perfume/cologne. The delivery cost was quite high but it was dispatched very quickly and sent by tracked 24 royal mail. A cheaper delivery option would be good to help reduce the cost.

So happy I tried this product! One of the best dried fish that I have had and I’ve tried loads. I bought the smallest bundle of five packs to begin with but will be ordering a bigger one next as this will definitely become a stable in my snack cupboard. The packaging is excellent as well, with the re-sealable bags keeping the fish fresh when it’s been opened. Highly recommend! Delivery was quick and very well packaged as well. Thank you!

Really loved the snackfish! Great taste and a good source of high protein. I’ve been looking for a natural snack without unhealthy preservatives like you get in other jerky, and this has been perfect. The kids also loved snacking out of the pack. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a totally natural product.

OK, the smelliness comes somewhat with the product BUT I did buy something similar off a normal supermarket in Iceland and it was tasting better and was much easier to eat, this one is quite flaky and papery and it gets stuck in your mouth and throat. I ate it with a pint glass of water beside me, and had to refill 1/2 way through.

I’m so glad I tried this product! The taste is delicious, and it’s a healthy source of protein, exactly what I was looking for in a gym snack. Snackfish feels like a much better choice compared to other jerkies. Good value as it packs the nutrients of 250g of fresh fish fillets per pack. Will be buying again – definitely worth trying if you want a natural, high protein snack!
