My latest watch purchase wasn’t keep good time on one of my old watch winders, I can only think that it’s the movement pattern so I spent a lot of time researching a new winder. The Barrington made it to the shortlist, my only concern being was it’s “bargain price” is it too good to be true? Other reviews persuaded me to take the plunge and I’m glad I did. It’s a beautifully made quality product that has the number of turn adjustments I was looking for, the one it replaced only has an increase / decrease type dial to adjust the number of movements so its guess work. The Barrington is almost entirely silent in operation and the watch cushion is very easy to remove / install. The added bonus is its a British made product, well most of it is anyway so well done Barrington. I will certainly be buying another very soon.

I am new to automatic watches and even newer to winders... There are quite a few to chose from and at very different prices. First thing I did was asking the manufacturer of my watch what characteristics the winder should have. At least 1000 RPD (rotations per day) they told me. I checked the very cheap winders and the very expensive ones. The RPD parameter is of course important but the ease of use, extremely low noise are equally important. I finally selected this one because of other reviews and because of the excellence of the customer service experienced by others.When I placed my order I immediately received a message asking whether it would be a problem if I had to wait a couple of days before the winder was shipped because the European plug was out of stock. That was the first good surprise: ordering from a foreign country (Belgium) I planned to use my own power supply anyway.The second good surprise was that despite what the description of the winder stated on Amazon, the maximum RPD is not 1000 but 1950 instead, making it even more flexible.The third good surprise is that you can not say that this device is quiet. Actually, even a few feet away, you can simply not hear it functioning.A very good purchase...

Ordered from Sertaint and got very quick delivery - well packaged - no chance of damage in transit. Instructions clear. On loading my watch onto the holder I found that the springy bit at the back was stuck on one side and didn't grip my watch properly. After temporarily fixing (wad of kitchen roll!) I turned the winder on. I was a little surprised at the noise - although not loud it was certainly audible and not what I would deem as ultra quiet. I contacted Barrington direct with my above observations who offered a replacement or refund. Opted for a replacement as I like the look of the winder. Returned the original, then received the replacement a few days later. Holder is fine, but the winder is still not as quiet as I was hoping. Having said that I do not have it next to my bed, and so it doesn't affect sleep! I put my Seamaster on and left running on 650 wpd. Went on hols and on return 8 days later found the winder had done it's job and time was perfect, so no issues with functionality. I would recommend this winder but do bear in mind it's not 'Ultra Quiet', but probably no louder than other winders up to this price. It's well built, looks good and does the job. Excellent service from Barringtons as well.

When I started my research for a winder I was snowed under with the seemingly endless range on offer and the plethora of reviews of them. The Barrington reviews were all, consistently, very good. I was particularly looking for a high-quality unit to sit on my bedside table so 'silent operation' to be at the top of my requirements list.When the unit arrived, I was impressed from the outset. Excellent packaging, a personalised message and a unit that felt solid and very well built! Since then it has completely lived up to expectations! Silent, highly adjustable and an excellent purchase that I am very happy with. I have no hesitation in recommending this for anyone searching through the internet looking for a quality winder. A++++++

I did not know that these winders existed until a friend told me he that his sons were getting one for him.thourght I would look into this and found this one. There are cheaper ones on the market but hey you get what you pay for. The build quality and fantastic finish of this product is second to none I went for the British Racing Green finish SUPER. As other reviews the motor is extremely quiet and can hardly be heard. Very pleased with the product and now my watch is ready to wear without having to change the time and calendar at all times. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a automatic watch.

Have had my Barrington winder for a week now and am very happy with it. Prompt delivery, well packaged, and beautifully made. I have an Omega sea master co-axial which I have worn 24/7 until recently, but can no longer wear all the time due to arthritis in my wrists. This winder offers a perfect solution to the problem, and my watch has kept perfect time so far. I'm running on re-chargeable lithium batteries as I want to keep it in a cupboard. The only down side is there's no way of knowing when the batteries are likely to run out, so have to check it regularly.Perhaps a battery level indicator could be incorporated in the future, as "wireless" seems to be the way forward these days. Anyway, a great product nevertheless.

To start what is sheerness lol - I have given 5 stars anyway! I purchased this watch winder after reading reviews online. I liked the colour choices (I chose blue) and the minimalistic nature of the winder. This winder is for my Omega Seamaster and as a test I have left my timepiece in the winder for a week. Happy to say that the time is still perfect (within 4secs of my phone). The watch Itself is expensive and very well made with great movements however, this watch winder appears to be doing what it is supposed to. I rated value for money 4 stars and that is purely because it is open fronted unlike Wolf winders but it is cheaper...so you get what you pay for! Hopefully this winder will last for a long time and keep my timepiece(s) ticking along nicely...ps I do like the carbon fibre effect on the pillow, nice touch.
