Let me start off by stating that I am in no way shape or form being paid for this review, this review is 100% my own opinion. That being said, this device is seriously FANTASTIC! I cannot understand all the negative reviews, they’re absolutely ridiculous! This device is in NO way garbage, it’s built rock solid. The flexible arm is SOOO strong, that it truly takes some major effort to get it unwound and then a bit more effort to get it adjusted to ur liking. It’s just REALLY well made. The adjustable clamp used to attach the device to something opens to a very substantial width. I seriously cannot imagine that it wouldn’t work for almost ANY piece of furniture you’d want to attach it to. I didn’t realize at first that the clamp actually opened waaay wider than I thought it did. I thought I had it opened it to its max width which didn’t nearly come close to fitting on the table I wanted to attach it to and then *lightbulb moment* I realized I just had to keep unscrewing it. When I actually had the clamp opened to its true max position (approx. 3.5”), it was way bigger than I needed. As for the all the complaints about the clamp for the hose...the size, the function, the design blah blah blah...yes, it is very oversized, and my hose is pretty skinny...so I simply turned the clamp upside down and placed my hose in it...boom...problem solved!!! Previously, I had my hose placed at the top of my bed in an effort to keep it in a place so it wouldn’t fall down, but it was still annoying when I would turn over throughout the night. I was constantly retrieving it becuz it always seemed to get away from me in the process of turning over. Last night was the first night I used this new device and holy crap, it was seriously GREAT! Not a single issue with my hose or having to manage it as I turned through the night. It stayed in the clamp and if I moved in such a way that more hose needed to be used, it just slid through the clamp! This device is seriously very well built and does an excellent job for its intended purpose! I would have to say, take all the negative comments with a grain of salt...I feel as though a majority of them are “user error” type complaints by people who just like to complain about anything and everything! If u read all the positive reviews compared to the negative reviews...you can definitely see a stark contrast, and a pattern. I would definitely suggest you let urself be the judge. At this point, I’m beyond happy with this purchase. I just cannot imagine that this thing will just “break” anytime soon unless there’s some other circumstance involved. Logically, it just doesn’t make sense based on how well built this thing is! I have been looking for something just like this for this exact purpose but the “standard” designs on most everything I found just didn’t appear to be all that great. THIS thing tho....IS definitely GREAT!!
