Stylish addition to the kitchen and great value
I bought this Daewoo kettle mainly for the design—the glossy finish looks much more expensive than it actually is and fits perfectly with my kitchen decor. It’s not just about looks, though; it boils relatively quickly and isn't too noisy compared to my old one. The handle is comfortable to grip, and it pours without dripping (a surprising issue I've had with other brands). For the price point, the build quality feels solid. Highly recommended if you want something that does the job well and looks smart on the counter.

Everyday design, just right.
As described, stylish. It's just what I wanted and sits well in my kitchen. One of the biggest plus points is the covered element - easy to clean, and also the no drip from the spout. Not quiet but it does boil quickly so that's ok. Recommended as the best I've seen lately in this price range and good value.

Works fine, looks lovely
Just thought I'd write a review as I was really on the fence about getting this kettle, but I'm glad we went for it in the end. If you are really fussy, the lid is a bit more difficult to get off than a traditional flip up lid, as you have to snap it off and then push it back on, but it's still very easy and only takes a second. It is a little (only a little, and the weight is evenly distributed) heavier than a plastic one, really so if you struggle lifting things there are probably lighter options. It has a good seal and the lid pops on securely, it doesn't wobble around. The handle is really comfortable and the steam doesn't go anywhere near your hands as long as you make sure the lid is on properly (which is easy to do as it pops into place.) The spout is lovely and pours beautifully. The water tastes fine. Partner has been making coffee every morning and no complaints. If you are bothered about noise, it is quite loud but not uncomfortable or piercing. Personally I don't really mind because I only go in the kitchen to make food but if you want your kettle to be whisper quiet I guess that might bother you. I am a little nervous about scratching the surface but I've knocked it against the tap a few times accidentally and the paint hasn't chipped off. It's perfectly fine and if you're on the fence between this and a traditional, I'd say there's very little difference in it :)

Rapid boil which is great.
This kettle is a replacement,it's a good size with a subsancial water capacity. Well made & boils rapidly which is great when you need a cuppa. Quick to clean.

Poor quality.
Poor quality, plastic lid broke, power lead clip on the plastic base broken.

I was hesitant to get a new kettle, but so happy i committed to the purchase.
The kettle offers a nice experience overall. Lovely action on the push button to open the lid. Smoothly glides open wide enough to get even the largest of taps in. While the kettle is loud, it’s boils up fast and the noise is kind of reassuring as you know it’s working hard for the task in hand. Solid click to let you know the water is ready... a real sound of quality craftsmanship. While the handle is quite protruding from the kettle, it’s nice to have a little space between your skin and the boiling hot liquid. Safety is paramount for me and this design feature ticks all the boxes. The pour from kettle to mug is pretty swift and seamless, a really nice flow of liquid. Impressive maiden voyage, Will definitely be using this again! (Not sure why Amazon is asking me to give a rating out of 5 for the ‘flavour’?... I haven’t yet licked the kettle so cannot accurately give any feedback on this. May amend my review in the future if that changes)

Quite Heavy and VERY Loud
The kettle is quite heavy compared to my previous Russell Hobbs kettle and it is extremely loud when boiling the water. The water measurement indicator is very difficult to read - clear plastic. It’s functional, but I would not buy again.
