AxialClear Body, Precut: SCX24 Jeep Wrangler JLU, AXI200000

Great product. I was concerned when I opened it and saw it was blue. But then I realized it’s just the clear film over the body

Comes precut and ready to paint! Easy to install and comes with all the stickers you’ll need!

I bought this mainly because I wanted a metallic red and black paintjob to match the upgrades I had been adding to my first gen SCX24 JLU. Proline liquid masking, Tamiya polycarbonate paint, and Gorilla Patch and Seal (to protect the paint) were all used on this project.Complaints first: 1) This body is flimsier than what came on the original SCX24 JLU made in 2019. 2) The holes are reamed slightly larger than the original, but that was only an issue for my front magnet mount, hence the "hood badge". 3) The back end is cut a little too high up, but at least it is nicely cut. 4) Mine did have some minor shipping damage on the fender flares, which was easy to trim off without it looking obvious or weird. 5) The over spray film was beat up enough that I just peeled it off and liquid masked the entire body.The Good: 1) Except for the back side being a bit high, the body was otherwise nicely cut and reamed, without burrs or rough edges, which saves a lot of prep time. 2) It includes several sets of stickers, covering the original stock themes of the 2019 JLUs. 3) Window masks are included. 4) For whatever reason, the details of this body are actually clearer than on the original body.Final Thoughts: Most of my complaints are actually minor and I would buy one of these again if I ever need to.

This body has overspray film on both the inside and outside of it. I’ve never seen this before in 25 years of building rc cars. Wasted the window masks, paint, and my time. I’ll figure out how to make it work, but they need to let people know this info in the description. Very disappointed, but learned a $35.00 lesson.

When you spend $30.00 you expect it to come in with know damage don't buy if you like damaged item

Who or whatever cut this did a horrible job. The back is cut unevenly and way higher than the original one I have. Also you will have to sand it where it was trimmed because theres little plastic things hanging from it everywhere. Super disappointed. I don't know what other option there is for jlu bodies but this one was definitely made on a Friday probably close to the end of the day. Hopefully this was a one off and the other ones are better.

Body has been damaged before being shipped, shipping box looked fine. I didnt notice untill i was putting window mask stickers on.....is it to late to send back and replace with 5 star?

Wanted another body to customize used Tamiya paint for polycarbonate
