Uh-oh, David! Sticker Book

David Shannon's books, specifically the "No No David" series, are hilarious and beautifully drawn. I love his thought process of trying to help children learn words while also helping kids navigate the necessity of rules. The sticker book allows a child to recreate previous or create new stories of David's adventures. I absolutely respect, admire, and appreciate David Shannon's talent as an artist and an author. Mazel Tov!

This was a great book. The stickers correlate to each page in the book so as we read the book they took the stickers and put them in the story. It was a nice activity to do together for a rainy afternoon. My 3 year olds love David books! I like that we did this together and they helped to create a book that is now treasured. Wonderful concept! I'd love to see more pages and less stickers per page to extend the story for later reading.

We loved the stickers, and the idea that we are contributing to the book by putting them where we wanted to in the book. David is so entertaining, and has made our little boy enjoy reading books!

The David books are being read by my grandson's kindergarten teacher. The children are totally enjoying the books. The stickers in this book provide enhanced learning within the book. It's a good educational activity.

Colorful… fun…great story-kids will love it!!!

We had a fun time reminiscing about the other No David books while placing the stickers into this book. The pages are the background illustrations and there are literally TONS of stickers that you can place wherever. The sticker pages are labeled according to which page they are supposed to be on, but the kids (or you) can put them anywhere. This is a fun activity book for those who love stickers.

It’s expensive but my son loved it.

Bought this for my three year old niece. Whereas I don't think it is going to last too long - she is a little too quick to rip off the stickers! - I do love the ease of the sticker book and the ability it gives the little ones to make up the story as they go along. I will say that she absolutely has an imagination, and this helps foster that. As a teacher of small children, I think this makes an awesome gift for any small fan of the "David" stories by David Shannon. It promotes oral language and imaginative play - two things that are lacking in many pre-k kids today!
