I bought the two pack, One for the patio and one outside the garage door. Both are outdoors and one died completely after 10 months. They are very bright and a form factor that will fit in most outdoor lamp fixtures. They are rated for outdoor use but this will attract bugs when used outdoors in an open lamp fixture, but will probably overheat in a closed lamp fixture. The bugs May be what caused it to fail in 10 months but that means it probably won’t work outdoors for very long. However I decided rating is still worth four stars, here’s why:Unlike a sealed LED lightbulbs, a corn lamp requires open areas for ventilation. This of course will attract bugs and cause early failure. This is A design limitation of all corn lambs. Someday hopefully the design will be improved but until then don’t expect these to last very long outdoors. This Is identical for all but don’t except for five stars in all the technology is improving.

If the bugs get into the lamp the circuits will short out. Flawed design.

These little cans will light up a room, workspace or closet.

Super bright

It worked great until it died after 18 months and about 100 hours of indoor use. I could not figure out how to return it, but after writing a poor review they contacted me and very quickly replaced it. I wish the warranty process was in the product description. Great customer service once we were in contact. (updated due to great customer care experience)

Very nice brightness. Use it in our garage and it's just like daylight in there.

UpdateAfter posting this review, the vendor reach out to me. They sent a replacement bulb as part of the warranty.The second bulb from my original order is still working fine and as a result had to update this review.So in the event your bulb goes bad reach out to the vendor it might still be under warranty. Their customer service was very nice and I appreciate it.—-When I first got these bulbs I was very excited as they are bright and I needed a bright bulb for patio. Unfortunately, one of them just stopped working free exactly 8 months since purchased.I tried searching a way to contact the manufacturer with no luck.
