Heavy-duty
I bought these to go on a pickup toolbox and I must say they are quality. Very heavy-duty. They are not cheap but exactly what we needed. They fit back in the slot perfectly and allow you to lock and unlock the toolbox but prevent someone from cutting the lock off and stealing your tools.

Reliable and proven
I installed these two locks on two separate Jobox tool storage cabinets. They fit perfectly and have performed flawlessly. Easy to lock within the confines of the Jobox lid, and operates smoothly with the mechanism. This is a very sturdy lock and on a Jobox it's shackle and body are further protected by the steel of the lid...so I see no reason to purchase a more expensive model. Has worked great for me x2 !!

It's a Master Lock. Classic design that has not changed much over the years. These are intended to keep random acts of theft by amateurs to a minimum. A professional thief will disable these in a split second......as they will with just about any other lock on the market. Consider what, where, and why you are locking something up before you leave your property unattended for a period of time.

Great sized lock for a job box
Perfect size for a rigid job box. Fit perfectly. Was concerned it wouldn’t fit and just wanted people to know if you were shopping for a lock that would work on a rigid job box, this is it. Good deal and came with 2 locks keyed alike and with 2 keys.

The lock itself is sturdy enough for me. However, I was surprised to find out the two packages I bought on separate days can use each other’s keys! Clearly, they don’t create enough key combinations. At this point in time, I wonder if Master meant that all locks are keyed-alike.

It's worrying if I lose that one and only key, will have to cut both locks. That's a unlogical product design that needs to be fixed.
