Studio Silky Curls Gel, 5-Fluid Ounce

This is the first time I have tried any curly hair product in the L'Oreal Studio Line, but after reading about it in my local newspaper's "summer rescue for curly hair" products, and checking Amazon's reviews (my first step ALWAYS before purchasing just about anything) I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it. I use a combination of products after I wash my hair, and am always looking for that "magic" potion that will give me perfect ringlets or beach waves....no magic yet, but this so far is a good product for my hair. Beware though, as with every gel hair product I have ever tried, if I use too much, it makes my curls crunchy rather than silky...I start with product about the size of a pea, mix it with a couple of other favorite products, and diffuse....nice curls most times..perfect curls once and awhile! But everyone's "perfect" is different. It's inexpensive, and worth a try.

This is very lightweight, which is perfect for me since I have curly hair and need products that won't weigh it down. Hair texture still feels natural and this product helps boost my curls a bit more than some other things I've used and gives it some shine. I use L'Oreal EverPure UV Protect Spray first (protects against heat styling -- [...]) and let my hair dry naturally for a few minutes until it is just barely damp, then I blow it dry with a diffuser attachment on my hair dryer [...] to encourage the curls. I put this gel in lightly and blow that dry briefly and I get great, bouncy curls all day long.

I have naturally curly hair & when this product came out I was able to buy it at the local drug store, however they stopped having it in the stores, I have tried every drug store around, found this on Amazon & was so excited I did. This is the only curl gel that works for my hair type & does not leave it sticky or feeling stiff! I am hoping I can still purchase on line , one seller I had already bought it all from them. Hoping I can still buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still can't find anything to replace this great product.

This is not the best product for me. My hair is thick, coarse and very curly. This did not hold my curl well and it did not prevent any frizzing. I think that it would do well if someone is looking for softer curls. It is a product that just wasn't for me.

It has a lovely smell, but adds a bit of a crunch to your hair which I really don't like.

This is literally the one hair product I can't live without. In regular weather, it ensures great curls and on humid days, it saves me from looking like a chia pet.

Bpught this product in bulk as I like it so much. Blow dry the front and use this on the back so I have surls . works great
