Replitel Bluetooth Adapter, Bluetooth 5.0 USB Dongle Adapter, Bluetooth Transmitter with 3.5mm Digital Audio for PC/Home/Headphones/TV/Car [Need USB power]

I bought this so I could use a small bluetooth speaker next to me, and reduce the noise from the tv when the kids are asleep at night. With their room being next to our living room, it means I can hear both the tv and them, without having to wear headphones. It does a good enough job of that. It powers itself from one of the USB ports on the tv, and just needs to be plugged into the headphone jack with the small attached cable. It pairs pretty quickly. The downside is that there is some buzzing, especially noticeable if you don't have the volume playing too loud through your bluetooth speaker. I'd noticed this when I turned the volume down more than I usually would as our youngest child was stirring. Reducing the amount of additional electrical interference between and around the tv and speaker, or moving the speaker a little closer to the tv can help reduce this buzz also. This product wont work to connect a mouse to a computer either, so if that's your intention you'd need to look elsewhere.

Exactly the sort of thing I was after so tv could be used with Bluetooth headphones,actually ordered two. Works well with headphones however quite annoying that you can't permanently set to either receive or transmit,every time the tv is switched off at mains it resets it to transmit then have to reinstall which when the tv in wall mounted is a massive pain. If anyone knows how to stop this then let me know.

Read a earlier review that mentioned a slightly higher signal to noise ratio but to be honest for what I use it for I never notice (playing seamless Spotify music on my old Sony HIFI in my home gym). Music reproduction is excellent, very easy to setup, once paired in RX mode with my smart phone it stays that way even when powered down and not expensive like other similar devices.

I know what this product ought to do but I am not sure what it does. My computer powers it but won’t recognise it and the pairing instructions are unintelligible. It probably is designed to receive audio input from a phone by wired connection and broadcast it by Bluetooth to speakers. Oh Dear - it also needs Ian power! It will not act as a Bluetooth dongle for a computer. Don’t buy it.

Sometimes it will connect straight away and others takes several attempts ! so left off one star !

Good quality for value, just for audio devices and sound transfer, no other bluetooth functions

The lag is distracting when hooked up to the tv.The 3.5 connection is temperamental causing static sound. Contacted seller but had no response.It’s been weeks now and still not heard back from seller. I’ve tried it in several devices and still get static sound. More noticeable between track when listening to music.##

It’s a good product.
