They definitely help with static but they don't eliminate it completely
I found with blankets and underwear I have to still use a dryer sheet but for towels they work great. They don't eliminate static on polyester either but cotton they appear to do well. They are not as noisey as my wool balls and I do get more lint off my laundry than I used to. I like them and probably would buy more if I need to but they are definitely not static free balls. These definitely do make my clothes wrinkle free.

It does make your clothes fluffy.
But I don’t notice much of whether these balls shorten the drying time. You definitely need the dryer sheets or fabric softener to avoid static.

Good to replace the paper
I use it for my child cloth to avoid the chemical an perfume of the bounce paper and these balls do the job (for now) ... let see during winter to see if the static is still there

Not a effective as advertised. .
Supposed to reduce tangling etc… does not really do that. In fact our sheets came out more bunched up - was using 4 of the balls when 3 are supposed to be more than effective. They certainly sound like they are working but not so!!!

Not Hard Plastic
I love the colors, but I thought they were a hard plastic, they're not! They're soft and squishy so they work so so. I prefer the hard plastic ones, they work better.
