Third Eye Headlamps - Stylish Artist-Designed Replacement Bands - Soft, Adjustable, Universal, Fits Most Headlamps

I got this to use with the Insta360 GO3s and its clip mount. This strap allows for a perfect head mount. It is great quality and is comfortable to wear. I also appreciate that it does not have any large printed logos on it. I have a headlamp with a strap that is getting old and stretched out, I plan to order another one of these to replace it.

This product allowed me to resurrect a Petzl Tikki XP headlamp that was still perfectly good EXCEPT that the headband was stretched out from too many cycles of use on and off a helmet. The worn out strap made the headlamp unusable. I am very happy with the look, feel, and function of this replacement headband. A card delivered with the product provided a link to online instructions. I viewed the excellent Petzl specific instruction video, and had no problem with installation (though I was not a huge fan of thebackground music). BOTTOM LINE - While I can't yet assess longevity and wear, my initial assessment is this is a very good product!

The elastic is good quality and should last as long as the original on my Princeton Tec headlamp. Colors are nice, but not too bold. Easy to install.

These headlamp bands are awesome! Easy to install and made both the hub's and my head lamps like new. The light portions of the Petzl head lamps work great, but over time the head band wears out. These head bands are a great replacement. Both my husband and I have head lamps we both really like and were sad when he head bands started to stretch out. Before we realized we could replace the band, we replaced the whole head lamp. Now this saves us money, being able to just replace the headlamp.

I use headlamps a lot, and I mean A LOT – at the very least twice a day, every day for the past 30+ years. Elastic headbands are usually the very first thing to go. Once they do, you've to choose: recycle the old furniture with a standard 1" elastic (minimal needlework, anyone can do it), buy OEM (all major manufacturers will gladly sell you one) or buy third party. This one, obviously, is a third option.Cannot attest to its longevity, as I just got it, but here are my observations so far:– No retroreflective threads at all. Good thing if you want to be stealthy to other headlamp wearers, not so good if you want to find it in the dark. Can be somewhat alleviated by putting a few strips of Scotchlite on the headlamp housing.– Compared to OEM Black Diamond bands, material is rather meh. Definitely not "premium". But at this price point, I have no problem with it.– My cleanly shaved head is XL/XXL sized. The band fits nicely… when opened all the way. If you have a large head full of hair, or wear a beanie, this band may be too small for you.– Black Diamond furniture is vastly superior to this generic design. But then again, BD furniture is not recyclable, so it's a moot point.Conclusion: very good band for the money, cute design, okay functionality.

Opted for the thunderbird version as the colors were close to my ancient petzl. Was easy to put on after watching the video

This band is far better than the original Fenix band that came with my HM-50R head light. It's a great light but the bands 2 hard buckles started quite wide apart then in a matter of only a couple months the band stretched out so bad I actually had to cut some of it off and I have a pretty big head! This band fits great the buckles are only a couple inches apart which will give it plenty of room to stretch out. The amount of stretch is far more though and the fabric is more comfortable. Kinda would have liked a choice of a pattern that wasn't to "loud" (I'm 71) but it's OK. Still deserves 5 stars. Definitely worth the money. My light stays put and is comfortable! Can't ask for more!

I was ready to throw out my headlamp due to the elastic failing. I needed to adjust it every time I used the headlamp. This product gave new life to my headlamp, which was a gift from my sons.
