My Fujitsu Scansnap ix500 stopped working. I had another old Fujitsu Scanner fi-6130. However, it required 24V DC while the ix500 adapter was only 16V. Therefore, I bought the HKY 24 V AC DC Adapter Replacement. It arrived within few days. The scanner worked fine with this new, replacement adapter. The adapter was reasonably priced and hope would be reliable and have a good, long life. I would recommend HKY 24V Ac DC Adapter to any one who would need a replacement.

I only received the part that plugs into the wall. The part that plugs into the computer is listed as part of the item but it was not sent. Amazon took care of it and sent the complete item again. It came very quick and works well.

The Adapter did not come with the cord between the adapter and the electrical socket as was shown in the product diagram. Also, the adapter that came with the Fujitsu Scanner was a three pronged adapter and the adapter provided was a two-pronged adapter. Since the cord didn't come I can't tell whether that makes any difference, so I have ordered the three-pronged adapter.
